Had a great stay! The cabin was nice and clean and secure, loved the ammentities inside as it was just enough room for the three of us, nice nature walks around the site and a historic feel throughout, definetly reccomend Restrooms: Porta potties throughout resort however paid showeres available
Spent the long weekend here and fell in love. You can tell that the owners take the money brought in and turn it right back into the campground. The music was great and all camping should have it. The restrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen in a camp. Only thing slightly negative is that the lake needs a little tlc, but that will come along in the season. We liked how close Nashville. It felt like going to Tennessee without actually going there. We will be back. Playground: Simple, but great for small children, other than it is further away from the campsites Restrooms: Clean and wonderful. Coin operated showers Dog-friendliness: Lots of pets to love on Picnic area: Sooooo many good spots to have a picnic
We rented a camper. They are clean and have modern technology. No TV but we don't need that we spent our time outside. You can bring your own. Very quiet even though it was a holiday weekend. I'm too old for being in a tent. But if nothing else I now know I need an RV ‼ we will definitely be back. Thankyou for keeping this campground nice and inviting.
Second year in a row we stayed at Bill Monroe Music Park. The cabin and all the grounds were really clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Coming back next year if not sooner! ……….. came back for year 3, had a great time !
One of the very best venues for music and music festivals. I have also camped here and I highly recommend it. We always have such a great time coming to Bill Monroe’s Music Park and Campground. Nashville, Indiana is also very close and that is a very charming town and destination. Highly recommended to come here to Bill Monroe’s.
First night camping there. Gearing up for the big Jazz-fest. Lots of people-friendly, music at many campsites, helpful employees. Can’t wait to share more photos of the main event.
Positives; Big campground. Lots of spaces. Flat pads for a camper. They have entertainment bluegrass bands. Friendly people working. Quiet. Price is fair - $40 for electricity and water. Close to Brown County State Park and Nashville. Negatives: Lots of open spaces with no shade. Hard to find your spot. One bathhouse on one side of the campground. We have portapotties around us luckily can use our camper. Big gravel hill to get to one section of the campground. General assessment: We will be back. We tried a different campground in the area. While it was closer to Nashville, Bill Monroe's Campground was a better value for the price. Restrooms: One more "real" bathroom on the other side of the campground would be nice. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs. Ours felt comfortable.
Love the Bill Monroe Music Park! We go the John Hartford Memorial festival every year and it's always the best time with an awesome music lineup, great staff and thousands of wonderful people. So many great updates. The new bath/shower house is awesome and there is a new laundry facility. The added beach Bigfoot Beach is awesome with the water slide and rope swing. 3 new permanent travel trailers on the property that you can rent and all the great cabins. Not to mention a the owners - the Voils family - are some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. And let not forget the cute property animals. The Lewbrooks will definitely be back.
Wonderful quite campground! Friendly staff, close to attractions, and stores. Were already planning on going back!
Wonderful little gem... not sure how it took us so many years to find, but it's perfect!!
