Through the years, Bills Donut Shop has moved numerous times. In the 1970’s, there were multiple locations in the Dayton area including the cities of: Vandalia, Wilmington, Kettering, and Huber Heights. Over time, the Elam's decided to focus their resources and talents in one store location.In 1967, the shop was located at the intersection of Franklin and Main, close to where Panera Bread is today and the parking was one of the biggest problems in those days."

We are Cinti residents visiting the area for the day and my oldest daughter said we just HAD to stop here at 4pm on a Friday! The selection mid-day was amazing and we got a dozen donuts and all of them were amazing. It was a quick in and out for us, probably because it was 4pm. LOL!
I don't have enough words to say how much I loved Bill's Donut Shop. I visited some friends from across the state today that I haven't seen in several years, and they took me here. The environment was very nice, and the staff was phenomenal. They truly went above and beyond. The donuts were great and I really enjoyed the cherry stick. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!
Great donuts and great service. We had a late night sweet tooth and stopped in for some donuts. The guy that took care of us seemed genuinely happy to be there. Sure, there was a bit of a line. But, that's because Bill's is so good!
Excellent local donut shop. All of their donuts were soft and delicious. I ordered two dozen for the nurses at the local hospitalmy wife being one of them
Had to see what the hype was about. Overall decent donuts. Not bad and price was great for 6 donuts. Line was long but moved quickly.
Bill's is a favorite of mine and clearly a favorite of the area. There is usually a line but it moves at a decent pace. The donuts are very delicious and reasonably priced. Popular and recommended are butter twists, peanut butter filled and sour cream which is the best I've had. In fact, the cake donuts are the best I've had and I'm not a fan of cake donuts unless they are from Bills. A must visit when we are in the area.
The many other 5 star reviews speak for themselves. Bill's is mostly busy 24/7 and has a great array of some of the top rated donuts in the country. There are also other baked goods, such as cookies and cream horns, and milk, coffee, and cappuccino.
I was visiting Centerville, OH recently, and my cousin took me to Bill’s Donuts. I haven’t been there in decades! The donuts are as fantastic as ever! Deliciously yummy! Tasty, soft, and SO MUCH BETTER than the big franchise donut stores. If you ever find yourself anywhere near Centerville, Ohio, be sure to stop by Bill’s Donuts and treat yourself!
5 stars. Everything was great. But like several others have said in their reviews, the donuts were a touch stale. What is especially attractive about this place is the shop itself, the atmosphere. I love the stools along the counter and the pretty jars of flowers from a local floral business that are placed on each table. There's a warm, community feeling there that is simply cozy. Excellent service. I love this place.
I stopped at Bill's Donuts on the way up to visit my family for Father's Day. The line was long, but it moved fairly quickly. Everyone loved the fresh taste, and my dad said they really "hit the spot"!
