We have decided to make this location our permanent roost because of the local owner’s commitment to provide you with a warm, clean, friendly atmosphere and to serve only the freshest entrees, sandwiches, breakfast items, coffees, teas and desserts.
John and his wife Marsha saw the need for a family owned restaurant in historic downtown Oroville, CA. After months of planning and listening to the locals, they decided to open The Bird Street Cafe. Marsha used her decorative skills to create an atmosphere and warmth of a quaint European Cafe while John developed menus consisting of local comfort foods to the finest in International cuisine. Six months after opening in June 2012 and with no advertising other than word of mouth they saw the need to expand. So in January of 2013 they opened the International Room at the Bird Street Cafe which can accommodate an additional 70 people. They are so grateful for the support that the community has given them and pledge always to provide them the best they can in Cuisine, atmosphere and service.
Bird Street Cafe is open:
Monday through Saturday Breakfast 7:00-1:00 and Lunch 11:00-3:00
Dinner 5:00-8:00 (Wednesday through Saturday) Brunch 9:00-3:00 (Sunday)
