Moonlight Marching Madness is held on the first Saturday after Labor Day from 6 - 11:00 PM. Come out to this carnival-like atmosphere, including vendors, bounce houses, food, games and marching bands.
BISD Marching Festival happens on a Saturday every October. Approximately 20 of the area's finest marching bands compete for the trophy and top honors. Adjudicators are nationally known and provide the bands with solid critiques and videos of their performances. Top 10 bands from preliminaries compete in the finals on Saturday evening.
Hurricane Harbor Choral Festival and Beach Within Reach Band Fest occur the first week in May. These contests for Middle School bands and choirs culminate with an awards ceremony at Hurricane Harbor Water Park in Arlington, TX.
