Bixby Medical Arts Building

This is a fantastic community space, an excellent way to utilize and repurpose a closed department store into a people-gathering space for youth and non-profit Musuem, and art organizations.

Nice location in Bixby Knolls. We attended a Career Fair as exhibitors. The location holds lots of community events.

Great venue for fund raising, day camps and receptions. Friendly and very helpful folk that run the place. Not a tremendous amount of parking.

This was my first time here. I came for Zine Fest 2023 and liked the space plus my friend bought a piece of art from the center's gallery.

Went for the craft and art exhibit, which was held coincidentally on Fist Friday.

They have an awesome west African dance classes with mama Ndella! It gives me life!

It is a very cool place to visit on first Fridays of each month! Live painting, exhibitions, and this past Friday a juggler!

This space started out like any other reclaimed building needed right away for events and art. What the Expo has done for Long Beach and Bixby Knolls has not only brought all outskirts to midtown but in my case got me out of my comfort zone. Allowing me to meet new people and find out more about my city. Atlantic Ave just past Wardlow is precious. The buildings , the little eateries , shops , the possibilities and the Expo. I've met many people at this creative space. Watching a huge space evolve and grow I think is gratifying not only to those who participate but to anyone who comes to enjoy whatever is happening there at the time.
