Good food and good portions. I ordered from Uber eats and I was not disappointed. This is the baked chicken, white rice and cabbage with a piece of cornbread. Everything tasted amazing. I ended up ordering the same thing the next day and adding mac n cheese. I would not recommend the mac n cheese didn't get a pic but, everything else was delicious again. Not too expensive although, everything is relatively expensive nowadays.

Went in at the end of their day. The Baked chicken was dry. The white rice is parboiled rice, bland. The green beans are from the can and pretty salty. The portion is pretty small for the size box they use.

Disgusting! Ordered garlic wings and received half baked wings with minced garlic thrown on them. Mac and cheese had absolutely no taste, just noodles with melted cheese… don’t waste your money here. Waste of $40

Remarkable! Flavorful! Plentiful! Excellent portions. Oxtails, fried chicken and even the cabbage was off the chain!! You will never be disappointed. It's just not possible. The hospitality alone makes you want to go back time and time again. A soulfood place above and beyond the rest. My new favorite place.

I've always wanted to try this place since it opened just haven't had the time until today, unfortunately I should've listened to the bad reviews. When I first entered I said hello and was not greeted but there was a friendly man on his way out that did say hello. I ordered the BBQ chicken, collard greens, yams, and a fish sandwich, the food wasn't very hot it was lukewarm. The chicken's was very dry like it was heated up and served, the greens I could definitely tell they were from out of the can 100%, and the yams weren't too bad. The fish on the fish sandwich did still have the tail and scales on it and wasn't seasoned at all. I really wish that my experience was better but unfortunately I will not be back. I ordered from them earlier today through DoorDash. The yams weren’t fully cooked they were dry not even a little sweet. The macaroni the cheese inside tasted fake like it was box macaroni. The only thing that was okay was the ribs and then even those kinda be on the rough side. Cornbread was dry ! The food here is on & off because I’ve ordered from here a few times one day the food can be decent and the next terrible

The food is good. The fried fish and shrimp are my favorites. My husband loves the potato salad and mac and cheese. We've ordered to go twice and will continue to support this black-owned business.

Passed by this place, and ordered food to go. I thought the food was pretty decent, but I didn't enjoy the Turkey Wings. They weren't that good. Additionally, they must have given me the wrong desert when I asked for Banana Pudding. There was no wafers in the pudding, but it did have coconut, and pineapples in it. Never had it like that before.

How do they offer a platter with 2 sides, don't put in one of the sides because they ran out, but don't even call or anything to give the option to replace it with something else and still keep the full amount of money we paid and said nothing about it until we complained. Yall are bogus. Then ontop of that what's the point off asking for specifics if you weren't going to do it.

I passed this place a few months ago while on my way home. I was shocked to see that it was a soul food restaurant. I said I was going to try it and finally got around to it yesterday. The staff behind the counter greeted my husband and I upon entering. We placed our orders and sat at one of their tables. It appeared that most staff were on their way home and one of the gentlemen maybe the father thanked us for coming. It took about 25 minutes for the our meals to be prepared. I ordered fried chicken, mac and cheese with collard greens. It also came with a cornbread. My husband ordered their rice and peas, bbq ribs and potato salad. He said that his food was good. Sorry didn't get to take a picture. For me the mac and cheese and cornbread were good but lukewarm. I expected the mac and cheese to be hot and cheesy. I felt it could've used a bit more cheese and it also had a slight buttery taste. Warming it up the next day it was cheesy and didn't have that buttery taste at all. Guess because it was hot. The collard greens and chicken were so good. The chicken was seasoned well and was crispy! Overall, I would definitely come here again. I feel the food was reasonably priced and tasted pretty good. And I liked the staff mannerisms. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the mac and cheese should've been hot and the cornbread warm.
