Cannot believe this company IU s still in business! Had a tree fall through our house in December 2007. BKA was first on the scene as a preferred contractor for our insurance company at the time.We were told the house was not moved from the foundation and would be as good or better than it was when they got done. We had to move out for 3 months and it was one problem after another then 3 months of arbitration after we moved back in. This house should have been leveled and rebuilt from the ground up. Still have problems to this day! Worst excuse for a contractor ever!
BKA was recommended by a client's home-owners insurance company to repair damage caused to a home when a dead branch fell on the roof in 2010. The roof damage had caused a crack through which rainwater had leaked into the home and caused ceiling and wall damage. BKA did come out and repair the problem in a timely manner at that time. However, in late 2012 to early 2013 the repair failed and the wall and ceiling were damaged once again by rainwater through that roof leak. Once again, BKA was called and took their time over 2-3 weeks repairing the roof. In Oct 2013 the home was sold and in Dec 2013 the roof began leaking again in the same spot. I, as the agent that sold the home, called the insurance company and BKA who informed me that their warranty is no longer active once the home is sold, no matter how recent the repair. This company obviously does not care about the standard of their work or upholding their promise of quality and satisfaction. I will not recommend them for any of my clients or those of my associates.
