When we first got to our table we waited around 20 minutes just to get menus, we asked for the kids menu and the waiter said why very rudely and wouldn’t show us even tho we had a kid, we ordered 2 grilled cheese and a garden salad, one of us is vegetarian and got the salad which then came out as the tenderloin salad instead, the waiter was very rude about the order being wrong and it then took another 30 to get the salad, mind you we had already waited for an hour for it, the grilled cheese wasn’t grilled it was just bread with melted cheese, and when we were paying and tipping we only tipped 5% since the waiter was very rude to us, when she noticed she rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything. Overall I would not recommend coming here as there is so many other small restaurants that are around the area and have way better service and food.
The southwest burger was so good, the jalapeños were bussin. The wings were pretty good too. The chicken was nice and juicy. Would eat again 8/10Food: 4/5
The black river tavern must not be missed, the chicken wrap with grilled chicken, was huge! And worth every penny, delicious to the last bite . Service at the BRT was immaculate! A good crowd and from the sticker in the wash basin u know the place is super clean if their washing routines is as such : Vegetarian options: There is one or two other than the salad Kid-friendliness: Kiddy meals and good options Wheelchair accessibility: Easy peasy Dietary restrictions: U can update them what ur needs are
A nice pub/restaurant in Souh Haven, Michigan that's convenience located in the most popular tourist area on Phoenix Street. The Chicken Cesar salad was very tasty the bright red umbrella gave the food a pink hue in this shot. The outdoor seating provides a great view for people-watching or just having a nice chat with friends. Parking: Finding a free space to park on the streets isn't so easy, but it's not impossible. You might have to walk 2-3 blocks, but then you can window shop along the way to the restaurant.
I'm rating the River Bottom which is the "speakeasy" style tavern below the Black River. The Mediterranean style food here is freaking tasty, the drink selection is awesome, and the atmosphere is perfect if you want a secretive-chill-welcoming vibe. Can't really say enough good things about the food, will be back for more. Drinks were higher priced than the relatively inexpensive high quality food, but the selection was awesome. Wait-staff were personable and fun. This is the best place I've been in a long time for atmosphere.
Excellent place to eat. If youre in a hurry, dont go here. They do take forever to serve the food. Being in the middle of south haven its expected, but the wait is definitely worth it!Food: 5/5
Loved the casual atmosphere and bar. The fish n chips are recommended. Kid-friendliness: There's a kiddie menu with portions sized just right.
The restaurant was welcoming with what looked like a good assortment of food. That is about all as the service was abysmal, with waiting over 30 mins with no server to order food. When food was delivered, it was small and tasted weird. How does chips and salsa taste weird? Anyways, the server came over with a check that we have not asked for, and sent us on our merry way. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a beer closest to the beach.
we got to the restaurant right as they opened for lunch and the service has been incredibly and unbelievably slow, waitress is spending all her time talking with coworkers and we have been sitting here for an HOUR waiting for our food and they didn’t even get busy until the last 20 minutes so I do not understand what is taking so long. After waiting and hour for our food I was given a BLT with no tomato and and Caesar salad with no dressing. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all I was told that the kid menu was given was so old they didn’t know where i got it the hostess and that they didn’t have any items on it they also don’t have crayons for the kids menus.
My wife and I had high hopes. We were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary and the ambiance was perfect. Received our first drink and the waitress disappeared. My wife had to call the hostess over after our first drink was empty because we still hadn’t ordered food and we needed another round of drinks. Hostess retrieved server order was placed nachos and another round of drinks. Thirty minutes later second round of drinks is done and no nachos. Asked for order to be cancelled. Left restaurant and Checked receipt and manager charged us 50% for nachos. This is unacceptable on many levels. Would definitely not recommend this place.
