Description
The Spirit of the Old West Exhibition is dedicated to presenting a balanced narrative of both Native Americans and American Settlers—depicting their challenges, their successes and failures, their ways of life. These inspiring stories make up the larger American Story, and the Blackhawk Museum wishes to educate and entertain while preserving these important histories for future generations.
Natural history, the wildlife present in the American west, shares the space.
Parking is FREE at the Blackhawk Museums.
"The Blackhawk Museum was established in 1988 and is one of the greatest treasures in the East Bay. It is located in the shadow of Mt. Diablo in Danville, California.Blackhawk Museum has five galleries of exhibits that are open year round. The galleries include a world-class classic car gallery, Into China Gallery, The Spirit of the Old West Gallery, Art of Africa Gallery and The World of Nature Gallery."
