Blackhorse on Foothill is the third location for Blackhorse Espresso and Bakery, a locally owned business founded originally as Uptown Espresso in 1995.
Blackhorse on Foothill is located on the corner of Foothill Blvd. and north Chorro. We are a coffeehouse offering both classic and specialty espresso drinks; fair-trade, organic, single-origin coffees ground and brewed to order; and a wide variety of food items including muffins, scones, cookies, pies, cakes, sandwiches, and much more.
This location features a sunroom - perfect for basking on warm days or romantically listening to rain-patter on glass during a storm - and a long community table equipped with twelve power outlets: a perfect place to settle in to do your work, whether you are a student or professional. We have a covered patio in the front of the store, and a sliding garage door that allows the patio and indoor seating area to become one. We have an additional patio in the back of the store.
If you want to buy some coffee for home, we always have on hand our house blend in both regular and decaf. We can grind it to your coffee maker's specifications!! If you want a specific kind of coffee, we can special order you anything from organic, fair-trade Ethiopian Yirgacheffe to pure Kona coffee. We now also feature coffee beans from Dark Nectar in Templeton.
