I personally discovered Blackwell's in downtown Lewisburg, WV a few years ago. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a friendly smile and I could smell the pizza dough baking. By far my favorite Tiramisu I have ever tasted! This is a must visit!
Made-in-house sourdough and pizzas, fresh quality ingredients, locally sourced meats, attention to detail and friendly service. The variety in the menu makes it easy to return again and again, along with rotating lunch specials. Dietary restrictions: The baked goods are well marked with ingredients and there is a selection of GF or vegan options.
Blackwell's is 100% my favorite place to eat in all of Lewisburg. I honestly wish I could give them more than 5 stars!! I order from here about once a week and every time, I am reminded of just how wonderful a place it is to dine. The staff are always friendly and the food is always fresh. My favorite menu item is definitely the turkey wrap that mango dressing is TO DIE FOR!! and the best dessert I've had though, mind you, they've all been fantastic is their lemon bars. My boyfriend and I both love ordering pepperoni rolls on the days they're available too! If you're in the area, you should definitely visit Blackwell's. You can thank me later.
Came here on saint patricks day this year and had a great experience. The man who took our order was very nice and accommodating. The pizza was fantastic. Definitely will be returning when I'm in Lewisburg again.
I had the pleasure of having lunch here last week. The food was delicious and the staff was more than friendly and patient. What a nice treat for the week!
I bought a pizza from here and it wasn't good to say the least; it didn't even taste like a pizza. They do not know how to make authentic italian pizza. They also gave us the wrong order.
A small place, with a small staff, but the food is excellent, the service is friendly and the wait time is just as good as any other busy restaurant. The four of us agreed that each of our dishes were the best we had eaten in quite some time. Interestingly, their walls are lined with with the work of local artists for sale, and many of the pieces are of very high quality. I'd give them six stars if I could. A negative review regarding this establishment during the height of a pandemic, when they are unable to hire adequate staff and many other places are closed, says more about the reviewer than the restaurant.
Very nice setting, super friendly staff and wonderful food menu! This place is perfectly nestled in a very nice town and if you are a fan of great flavor- stay away from this place because the sandwiches they offer ooze with flavor! Everything from the bread to the meat to the vegetables in the sandwiches... all of it compliments the other so that you forget what your actually eating and what is even in the sandwich. It's sandwich perfection here
Fantastic find, locally owned and operated eatery. The hot Italian sandwich is an excellent choice made with homemade bread. Also couldn't pass up the gluten-free lemon cookie, very yummy!
Ordered a 16inch Pep and Mushroom and Extra Cheese Pizza and was excellent! Crust was just right, the red sauce was delicious! Friendly staff and a great location on Jefferson Street in the heart of town!
