Blakely Hose Co. No. 2 is a 100% volunteer fire department dedicated to providing professional emergency services to the residents of Blakely Borough, PA.
The mission of Blakely Hose Company No. 2 is to serve and safeguard the residents of our community and surrounding communities through the delivery of professional, efficient, and effective fire suppression and other emergency services while protecting life, property and the environment.

Blakely Hose Company No. 2 runs an Engine, Squad, and a Command Vehicle.
Engine 22 is a 1997 KME Renegade LFD with seating for 8 firefighters. The engine sports a 430 H.P. Detroit, along with a 1500 GPM pump. The on board water tank carries 750 gallons. This engine has serve our department and community well since its purchase and has proven to be an excellent tool when it comes to fire suppression and water supply. With 1,500 feet of LDH (5") this engine in the perfect piece to make those long lays. Stretching a line or two is never an issue with its 4-200 ft. 1 3/4" pre-connects, 1-150 ft. 3" pre-connect, and 1-200 ft. 2 1/2" pre-connects make the engine a versatile piece for fire suppression.
Squad 22 is a 2018 Spartan Metro Star Chassis EMFD with seating for 8 firefighters. The engine sports a 450 Cummins ISL, along with a 2000 GPM Hale Pump. It also carries 750 gallons of on board water as well as 25 gallons of Class A foam. The Squad features a 2000 GPM Monsoon remote deck gun and extend a light tower.
In 2005, the department placed Car 22 into service. A 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer as the department's command vehicle. Car 22 allows the Chief Officer to arrive early at an incident, provide a size up to incoming units, and initialize the department's Incident Command System.
