It's not really handicap excessible. No bathrooms available. There are several obstacles on the rugged trail, but I suppose that in the dry parts of summer, it's a delightful area for those able to walk on such terrains. If you are going in wet season, bring boots, and mosquito spray. Dog-friendliness: Seen several people walking their dogs. Picnic area: It's an open field mostly.
Creepy old man in a brown car stalking young men and women I got pics of his car blurry but can still make it out Playground: no playground Restrooms: No restrooms Dog-friendliness: Great for dogs Picnic area: Very good location for romantic picnic
If you're looking for a quiet, rougher place for a walk this is it. The big giant field in the front is great for running your dog but not the best for sports; it's just very rough. But it's a lovely big place to let your dog explore. It's also home to some massive black walnut trees, very beautiful and a great place for walnuts! In early spring, the lower trails have an explosion of rarer wild flowers, don't pick! But great to see them. It's a neat place to explore but come here with a desire to rough it and trail walk, there are no facilities or tables.
I am genuinely afraid of this park. I do not recommend going alone, or during night hours. There are a lot of homeless camps and sketchy activity that goes on here. In addition, the amount of trash left behind is insane. I wish the city would step in and clean it up, because it has potential!
Love the trails, very peaceful. Nice flowing river
Excellent place to take your dogs to run excellent place to go and watch nature a lot of deer in the morning trails all throughout the place you can't beat it inner city trails you got to love it
It's a big, open field that's well maintained despite it's location. This is great for an active family that doesn't need a playground to have fun. It's also dog friendly, just make sure to bring a leash. Unfortunately, the small parking lot seems to be used for more than just park parking, which can quickly take up space.
I love this park. There are nice trails for walking and biking that go down by the river. There are large areas that are popular with h pet owner for exercising their animal. People also picnic, play frisbee and other sports. I love this place in the spring, the wild flowers and creatures always put a smile on my face and a love for creation on my heart.
Homeless and drug users camp and hangout in the woods. Huge camp on the other side of the river near Lover's Lane. A homeless lady yelled at kids walking by. Shopping carts keep ending up on the river too.
Neat meadow nestled in forested area. Great place to hikelots of trails and run your dog. Mine is leashed 25ft. others run loose.
