Blend Wine Shop is all about blending friends, neighbors and community together one glass at a time.
Who we are and what we stand for~
In July of 2005 Dayl & Jeff Minch stepped out of their comfort zone and made the move to the KP not realizing that they would fall in love with the area and community. In 2011, they opened Blend Wine Shop, to share their love of wine with their new friends and community.
In 2014, long-time Key Peninsula residents Don & Molly Swensen purchased Blend Wine Shop with the intention of continuing on in the footsteps of their friends Dayl & Jeff.
Our goals are the same as those of the previous owners:

•To help and support local community service groups
•To promote and support our other local businesses associates
•To encourage and support new businesses and entrepreneurs
•To promote the Key Peninsula as a great place to visit and explore
For our customers:
•To provide an environment for people to enjoy the simple things in life
•To provide a fun way to explore the great tastes of the Northwest and the world abroad
•To provide good products at a good value
•To make sure your special orders processed in a timely manner
•To work hard in helping you find those special order items
To the environment:
Our commitment to preserving our planet is evident throughout our store. Much thought went into designing the elements of the layout and to continue to leave the smallest footprint possible on the environment.
•We will recycle all glass, aluminum, cardboard, compost food waste, and more.
•We are using Eco-Hippo Sacs, which are made of recycled resin and can hold up 26 lbs. We encourage all our customers to reuse their bags every time they come back to visit us.
•Our main serving bar, main wine racks, and service table are made of recycled and reclaimed wood gathered from area businesses.
•Our used barrels were purchased from Washington wineries and recycled into beautiful wine barrel tables
•The corks used to decorate the tables and other items were painstakingly collected from the bottles that passed through the Minch home.
Since Dayl & Jeff walked into the building for the first time, and realized that this was the place to make this happen, Blend has become an extension of their home and now, an extension of ours as well! With that said, we are very happy to be able to invite you into this 'extension' of our home. We look forward in serving your needs and becoming a friend for life. Cheers!
