Made an appointment to donate platelets and arrived prepared, and still had to wait almost an hour only to still not be seen. I expected the establishment to be more efficient with checking people in. Otherwise, I see no purpose to even schedule appointments if they are not respected.

I’ve donated to LifeStream about 9 times now. Each time has been a great experience! The staff have always been very kind and helpful. On my 8th donation, I got dizzy and had to lay down after I finished donating. Everyone was attentive and checked in on me to make sure I was ok. The next time I went in to donate, I let the person know what happened the previous time, and that I was a little nervous. She was very understanding, and took great care of me! She took a little less blood, raised my legs a bit while I was donating, was extremely attentive, and allowed me to stay in the donation chair until I felt comfortable getting up. I’m happy that I found LifeStream, and as a person with O+ blood, it feels good to be helping others out! And I love always getting the free goodies and/or gift cards they have for each donation.

I donate some where else. . For a place that suppose to saves lifes. My mother passed away . Funeral was on a monday, first time ever > I asked for the day off. was told u either come to work or go to the funeral, cant have both.. WAS TOLD IF I WENT 2 MY MOTHERS FUNERAL NOT TO BOTHER COMING BACK TO WORK. Had been working there for a long time. As long as i produced they would keep me on, but would not hire me cause i did not have a high school dipolma.When i think about them or pass by there , to this day really bothers me , where i cant sleep at night.

Great staff. Great facility. For several years, I donated regularly. There was a day of the week called 'Sandwich Day'. It was discontinued for 'covid safety' reasons. It has not been reinstated. I will begin donating blood regularly when sandwich day is reinstated. This is just my opinion but I think 'covid safety' is often an excuse for slacking in service.

Today was my first visit to the new facility. Being the dummy that I am, I didn't even bother checking to see what their hours were for the day. The person who checked me in was very friendly although initially they were looking back and forth at each other like where do we sign him in to? Like I said, I'm a dummy and thought nothing of this. The visit was smooth as always and there were no issues with my donation. It wasn't until I was snacking in the cantina where I noticed my mistake when I opened up my phone, "Tuesday 630am-2pm". I'm pretty sure I walked in way past 2pm like I was El Jefe or something. I apologized profusely for making them stay late but got nothing but thank yous for coming in today to donate. I'm pretty sure one of the reasons I keep coming back here is not just to save lives but also because of how friendly all their employees are.

Very misleading if I had to give them a zero I will. Spoke to the lady by the name Cindy who made the appointment. I told her the gentleman I was bringing in is handicap and diabetic. He cannot walk or hear good because he lost his hearing aid will there be a problem? This woman named Cindy said as long as his sugar is under control there shouldn't be a problem with accepting him. Since we don't have any walk-in blood banks in my area, I had to drive three hours to get to Victorville a walk-in blood bank call LifeStream. I was told by one of the staff member that they cannot accept him because he cannot walk nor hear to answer medical questions. I said Since I have a power of attorney I can help assist so he's able to hear. The lady said no I cannot be in the same room as him. Then she continue on with since he is in a wheelchair and cannot walk he is not a candidate. It's funny how they didn't ask me to donate blood either when I had an appointment there too same day and time. I am very healthy and have no blood viruses. We both wore clean clothes and was clean. I guess if you just look wrong to them they discriminate and judge you . The lady at Business center drive location, that rejected us,seem as if she didn't care whether we drove that far and offered no accommodation whatsoever. Our appointment day was on 2/3/2022. 1:30 pm The One on Business center drive. In Victorville California. I lost $60 plus mileage in gas because of this so-called prescreening woman that answer the phone before she set the appointment misled us into thinking that wouldn't be any problem. Yet this company wants you to donate for free but they can't give you respect like a human being.

I was there on 11/07/21 for a platelets donation. I had done this in October with no problems. This time I felt faint afterward. The staff took such good care of me. Very attentive and kind. Busy, hard working staff.
