I want to give it a Better review opened during pandemic, hard workbut , unfortunately there are big problems : 1 coins only no chip/tap pay support this is the 21st century? 2 lights burned out Just built, but no LEDs?, 3 Broken CCTV cameras? It is clean and well located otherwise
Yikes. This place is bad. It must have been something else at some point because literally half of the building is taken up by a counter and stools. Why would you want to hang out in here? Literally no reason. It's filthy and gross and there's not even an attempt at ambiance. Apparently like only three of the dryers work, and when I was here people were fighting over getting access to the ones that actually dry. Everyone in here looks like a zombie, just standing around blocking the aisles. Multiple people were folding clothes directly out of the dryer. People that were like 60 but were acting like this was their first load of laundry ever. Something about this place just puts you in a really bad mood.
I've been here three times and I'll never go again. 1st time the quarter machine wasn't working. No sign posted or anything, no number to call, no staff. I put in a $5 bill and got nothing in return. 2nd time The dryer I was using kept turning off like I opened the door so I had to sit and watch it and hit the start button every couple of minutes 3rd time the machine to buy single use bleach had dryer sheets instead of bleach, so I spent that money on nothing. I also had about $300 in white shirts come out of their washing machines brown, completely ruined.
I'm only giving stars for convenience. You have to pay extra for hot and warm water, yet all of the machines only wash with cold water. A lot of the dryers don't work, good luck figuring out which ones do and don't because they don't put signs on the ones out of order. The detergent/softer/fabric sheet dispenser has taken my money every time I've used it without dispensing anything. I was ignored by someone working there once when I told him a machine was down and took my money and another machine was filthy. Occasionally I go to the laundromat in shady side, its a lot nicer, cleaner, cheaper, the machines are more up to date and actually wash w hot/warm temperatures.
I mean it's a laundromat and they're all at least kinda janky, but this is easily one of the cleaner ones I've been to and I've been to quite a few.
It took four tries but we finally found a nearby laundromat that was clean and comfortable. They have plenty of machines and they all seemed to be working. And being in Bloomfield is a plus because it's easy to find a place for a coffee or a bite to eat between loads.
You guys really need a new team member. This lady really is horrible at her job. I had to stand out in the cold for 30mins when it was suppose to be open at 8. The lady was taking her time slowly repeatedly wiping the same washers. We knocked and she didn’t even turn around, to tell us to give her a few minutes or what ever. She needs to know time management and she needs to respect people. I’ve seen her yell and talk to people anyway over simple things. The whole parking lot was never salted when it snowed a lot, I almost slipped. This problem really needs to be fix and there needs to be a customer service number to call that isn’t her.
Good one, Clean, new machines, plenty of parking.
I’ve seen a few reviews about people being yelled at by staff for starting laundry too early and I’ve had the same experience. I arrived according to when Google said the place opened and the door was unlocked, entire place was empty but all the lights were on so I started a load of laundry. About 15 minutes later a woman came in and said I wasn’t supposed to be there and that they were closed. Couldn’t have been more rude about it even though I apologized and explained that I had no idea. The dryers also suck. This is the closest laundromat to me by far that is open on weekends, but I won’t be returning.
