Blue Ash Chili Original

About

Since 1969 Blue Ash Chili's premium chili has been made with the same family recipe using only top-quality ingredients.

Description

Blue Ash Chili is not your typical Cincinnati chili parlor. Since 1969 our premium chili has been made with the same family recipe using only top-quality ingredients. It’s not too spicy and served Cincy-style: cheese coneys, 3-, 4-, 5- and even 6-ways. Our restaurants have the feel of a small town diner and the dining room and carryout line are always packed with regulars.

But we don’t just stop with premium chili! Many customers come in for our famous double-deckers and hearty breakfasts. Our menu features something for everyone: custom burgers, chicken, BBQ and lighter options too. Blue Ash Chili has a liquor license so our customers can have a beer, wine or cocktail to wash down their meal.

In 2010, Blue Ash Chili was featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-in, & Dives on the Food Network. That same year Blue Ash Chili was selected as the Official Chili of the WEBN Fireworks + Cincinnati Riverfest 2010!

We got a lot of food for a good price. The inside is really nice and cute and they have garage doors they can open when the weather is nice. Service is quick. The chili had a little too many spices like cinnamon for my liking. It’s not my favorite but still good. The gravy fries were very yummy! Two of the coneys we got did not come with an actual hotdog, which we knew, but just make sure you’re reading the menu!
Great dining experience. I tried the chili and it was meaty and had the Cincinnati flavor. I like to try local dishes so I had the goetta sandwich. Fantastic. Prices are reasonable, the desserts were great. Service was timely and they offered suggestions.
The new location is much better than the old. Very clean and well done. The food is just as I remember the last time I visited. The staff was exceptional. My personal favorites include the BLT or ham/bacon on white. Maybe give the caramel brownie a try if you're feeling good. I love this place.Food: 5/5
Great place, very nice staff and food made quickly. Had the 5 way and my son had a chocolate milk shake. Both were very good. Milk shake was $8 which was a little overpriced for the size. I would definitely go back, but wouldn't order a shake again. Triple D got me to stop and it did not disappoint!!
Burgers are great, fries are fine. Really liked the gravy and the staff is exceptionally great. We went while the Easter decorations were up and they invited my 3yo daughter to go around and look for Easter eggs hidden around the restaurant.Recommended dishesGreat Burger, Seasoned Fries, French Fries, Gravy
From my few experiences at Blue Ash Chili, I could say that they are consistent. I do like Skyline Chili but at times they are very consistent depending on which location you go to. But here, it seems like they know how to do it right.Food: 5/5
Two stars only because staff was attentive, and neat decorations. Had high hopes, but unfortunately the food was flavorless. The potato cakes were oily & apparently fried in very used oil, since they had the taste of many different fried foods. Our two coffees were $3 each. I had one SMALL mug. I guess they are higher than Starbucks for their coffees. Change your oil every day please! We won’t be back. Parking: Many spots of parking in the plaza lot.
Stop 4/11 on the Cincinnati Coney Trail. Blue Ash Chili is a fairly new location, so it’s very modern but retains it old Cincinnati chili parlor feel. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 way and chili cheese sandwich with mustard and onion. The flavor was robust and the consistency was not watery. Loved it! My only upgrade would be steamed hot dog buns. Check it out!
Wanted a double decker. Got one and a side salad. The caramel pretzel brownie was so rich I almost went into sugar shock. The front windows/doors were open for a wonderful indoor/outdoor dining experience. I had not been there since they moved from their old classic location. I will be going back. Thumbs High! Parking: Large parking lot but not too far if you park in the back.
We’re on a family road trip and asked for a local place to eat. We were directed to Blue Ash Chili, and we were glad we came here. We were greeted with friendly and welcoming staff. Learning we weren’t from the area, our server brought us samples of their chili, which was a nice touch and very thoughtful. We ordered a ginormous pretzel to share, burgers, chili cheese coneys, fries, onion rings, and dessert. We ate until our hearts were content. The staff was lovely and attentive. The owner personally greeted and checked up on us. It was a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. Will definitely come back when we pass through again.
