Always friendly staff are there to make sure your experience is a fantastic one. I had a breaded walleye fillet and the mac attack and loved it! Very delicious! My water was never low and the server automatically brought more tartar sauce instead of asking. Great staff, fantastic food!
Happy hour deals are okay, not the best value. Service was slower than typical. Avoid the Nachos!
I've been here a total of three times. The first two times probably weren't a full five stars. I'm basing my review on the last time I was there — mainly because I was impressed with the service this time. The server did a great job, even managed to stay positive among some picky customers. I had the fish and chips. It was fresh, hot, crispy and all you can eat. One plate was more than enough. Oh, I forgot to mention. One girl who worked there was drawing some beer from the tap and managed to spray some all over a friend of mine. He wasn't too happy but she played it off well! "You're okay", she said. I thought it was kind of funny. Anyway, we had a decent time here.
Good prices, great food, friendly service. We came in with a party of 30 on a Sat. noon. Seated us right away, everyone's order was right. Little weird that they served one ticket at a time but kids and adults were happy. Max and cheese, shrimp and curry chicken, and salmon club ...4 1/2 stars per dish for us...mini corn dogs were a HIT
Their food is excellent! From the hummus and quesadilla appetizers, to the fish and chips, steak, and pasta, we've always had great food here. I really like the environment, too. And have received solid service each time we have visited.
First time eating here. We were able to be seated right away on a Saturday evening, but unfortunately the service was slow and disappointing. No bread of any kind brought to table to snack on, which I like and think the place could stand to do. Overpriced burger with add bacon cost $13.49 - ridiculous, but good. I ordered the mac n cheese and added bacon - $11. It was very good, but the portion was more akin to an appetizer than an entree. I was not filled up at all after I ate all of my portion. When I order a pasta dish, I expect to have a big bowl full that is difficult to finish, so this small portion was a big disappointment. My husband got the fish tacos. They were good, but again a measly portion. Only two small ones on the plate. He too was not filed up for a $13 taco dish. While the food was good, the service and portions were not, except the burger, which I don't feel was worth the price. I did not feel good about the $60 I spent to feed 3 people. Would not go back.
I didn't know they had brunch! Now not the ordinary no primer carving, but who cares kind. Much better ballance on lunch than others, and good for kids. Chicken tenders, catfish nuggets, mac-n-cheese I had 3 servings, and my girl had 3 cinnamon rolls. All for $14.99!
Sat in bar and was ignored. Sat patiently for 15 mins. Party of six came in behind my two person party and was immediately assisted. Tables readjusted, menus and water given as well. When we were finally noticed, which was hard not to considering we were sitting right next to the aforementioned party, we were then told "someone will be right there" with no apology offered. I will NEVER return to this blatantly RUDE establishment as I most certainly didn't feel welcome!
On Fourth of July myself and 9 others came in for a 21st birthday. We were not welcomed in at the door... So we wondered around to the bar side. Still no one greeted us. We made it all the way to the bathroom before we finally said something to the bartender and the manager who were just leaning on the bar clearly unhappy to be there. They refused to serve us because and I quote the bar tender, "if I have to work on the Fourth of July and not have fun with my friends, why should I let you have fun?" The manager was just as rude. After refusing to serve us, we all jumped back in the limo and headed to another local bar where we were served and treated very nicely.
I love the mac and cheese...add bacon and some grilled shrimp! Yum. Good serve Brett H gave great service at the bar. Checked on me several times too.
