Blue Township Fire/Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization that trains, is organized and executes as a professional paid department. BTFD covers HWY 24 east of Manhattan from the Blue River Bridge as far east as Hopkins Creek and north to HWY 13 and Carnahan Rd.
