Blue Water College Access Network works to increase the number of St. Clair County graduates who continue their education beyond high school.
Blue Water College Access Network is the local college access network in St. Clair County. Our mission is to have 74% of St. Clair County students attend college. We define “college” as any type of education that happens after high school that leads to a valuable credential or degree.
We are comprised of leaders in business, K-12, higher education, non-profit, government and philanthropy. Collectively, we are creating a college-going culture in St. Clair County, Michigan.
Helping students and their parents successfully navigate the journey from kindergarten through college, the goals of the Blue Water CAN are to:
• Increase the number of St. Clair County graduates who continue their education beyond high school.
• Partner with local districts, and other St. Clair County community organizations such as the Community Foundation, Economic Development Alliance, and SC4 to maximize the use of existing resources.
• Provide parents and students with the information to plan and direct the course to higher education.
Blue Water College Access Network is dedicated to delivering important information and materials on the college going process and higher education to parents, students, and educators.
