Woman owned and operated custom picture framing company located in Louisville, Kentucky. Family operated since 1975 with a total of 100 years of experience on staff. Bluegrass Frames is capable of handling any size job from hundreds to individual pieces. No job is too big or small. We can coordinate with interior decorators or project planners. Delivery and installation can be provided if needed. CPF Certified (Certified Picture Framer) with membership in GLI, LIBA, PPFA, JTown Chamber of Commerce, and Middletown Chamber of Commerce

Back in Apr I received an amazing gift from my gf from a recently attended concert. It's been many many years since I've had anything framed so I did my research and chose Bluegrass Frames to secure a cherished memory. They spent quality time with me as I swapped out different options for frames, matte, sizing and glass. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and this piece will stay with me for a very very long time and it's not preserved as best as it can be. I'll be back to get another piece framed in the near future.

Brought in an oil painting to get stretched around a wood frame. Gale and everybody were nice and easy to talk to. Quick turnaround time and will return. Thank you Gale!!

They framed photos that are 60+ years old after finding them in a book. They are patient and I am incredibly picky. I love to see a lot of different combos of mat and frames. The work is phenomenal and the photos look timeless. It is more than what I imagined it would look like. Would recommend for pieces that require conservation glass and will be going here for any framing.

I went here based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. I had four items framed and each one came out lovely. Hardware seems sturdy. Everyone was kind. Gail was a tremendous help in picking out the right frame/glass. 100% I’ll go back.

I belong to The O’Leary Clan which is a group in Ireland that holds a Gathering every year the second weekend in September. The event is normally held at Creedon’s Hotel in Inchigeelagh, County Cork but due to COVID-19 restrictions we were forced to hold a virtual Gathering using Zoom. It is our tradition to take a group photo but since that was not possible, we took a “screen grab” during the Zoom session. A print was made, and I brought it to Bluegrass Frames to have it framed so I could ship it to Ireland. It is proudly displayed in a pub in Inchigeelagh, County Cork, Ireland.

Overall good experience. The lowest cost frames for posters on sale are a little over $100

I've always been very impressed with the quality Bluegrass Frames' business offers. I have dealt many times with the different staff members. Gail is amazing, though, in her ability to find THE perfect framing option, every time!! I would highly recommend anyone who wants a great quality experience, to visit Bluegrass Frames.

Designing framing isn’t an easy task especially with two kids 9, 3 in tow but Bluegrass Frames made it painless. I’m excited to see the finished products but mostly appreciate the patience we were shown. My kids were very appreciative of the mountain water and Sprite while I made my choices. The smile on this face says it all.

Wonderful! I had a terrific experience working with these guys - I had a unique photo and they helped me every step of the way on turning it into the the perfect framed art for my wall. The completed piece was just perfect.  Bluegrass frames was attentive, helpful and fast. Quality job and great communication. This kind of stuff isn't my strong suit and they lent their expertise every step of the way. Would highly recommend!
