The vet is nice but the staff is very under experienced or have poor knowledge, CONSISTENT ISSUES. The amount of items the vet tech would be in the room with the vet and then get the notes wrong / meds wrong. They get upset if you outsource your medications and drop the ball on getting you the prescription. My dog had a surgical infection, I understood when the first cone didn’t fit but it was the consistent dropping the ball and no urgency on the matter. Had to call the office everyday for 5 days to make sure the prescription was written and they dropped the ball every day. Had to pay double on prescriptions. Not happy with the service on other visits as well. Do not get the puppy plan “insurance” they sell it as if it’s worth it but even if you cancel at the end of the year you will end up owing.
Normally, I’m not one to leave reviews if I have bad experiences however, this is absolutely unacceptable and downright cruel. Especially since we have been clients of theirs for over a decade since we’ve had our dog. Very bad euthanasia experience with them. My little sister had to unfortunately put our family dog down by herself while everyone was out of town. They were very unprofessional in how they handled the process and made her bag him up. I believe this is because they had knowledge that she also works at a vet clinic and just assumed that it’s okay if she does that herself. Staff lacked empathy for this young girl and her situation. Please think twice before giving your money to this business. This is not the first instance that my sister was disrespected by them. It was traumatizing enough to have to make a decision like she did but the lack of remorse and unprofessionalism was just another weight for her that she didn’t need to bare.
We have been bring our animals to Dr. Gutta and team at Bluestar for going on 5+ years. He is a top notch vet and always gives great advice/recommendations for our pets. The staff is always friendly and is great to our fur babies. I cannot recommend this place enough.
I would like to thank Dr. Caroline Kanacheril and Gabe for the excellent care they gave to our dog who was acutely ill will hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. I attribute the intensive treatment plan of meds and IV fluids that Dr. K administered to our maltipoo to saving our precious dog's life! They monitored and cared for him for 2 days. I trusted them completely and will continue to. We have been using this vet clinic for the last several years. The staff is always amazing and they even call the next day to check on their furry patients. Gabe is always so patient and extremely knowledgeable. He always helps me with all of my questions. Vet tech Thais is so sweet and helpful also. The grooming appointments always go great and our dogs always look so adorable when we pick them up. They have never hurt or injured our dogs during grooming. I couldn't be happier with this clinic for all of our dogs needs. Great job to the staff at Bluestar, Gabe and Dr. Kanacheril. I switched from another vet to this location and couldn’t be happier! The staff is wonderful and the Vet is even better! They take excellent care of my baby, I never feel like they’re trying to upsell services I don’t need. They’re very upfront with cost before anything is done. You can tell they really love the animals that come in. Definitely recommend using Blue Star for your vet needs and grooming!

This the best vet's office I have ever been to. All the staff is wonder and caring. The monthly payment plans are great too. My dog loves going there and never fights me on it!
I have had my Goldendoodle littermates here since we brought them home. They have always received the BEST care. We just had them spayed and the care was exceptional. I heard directly from the doctor when the girls were ready to come home and received a full report. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grooming is exceptional. I love bringing my girls and my labradoodle as well here! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
My Sienna needed to leave us and Bluestar made her passing comfortable and easy. I highly recommend Bluestar for your veterinary needs.
Underserved, Overcharged and Ignored Based largely on good Google reviews, last Thursday we took our puppy to Blue Star for her first grooming. I had called in advance to learn that a puppy grooming a version of which she eventually got would be $36.50. I showed up at 10:00 for our 10:30 appointment with Daisy and with photos of puppies groomed in the style we wanted. Daisy is an Australian Labradoodle, a breed groomers tend to turn into poodle lookalikes, which we don't want. I was told she would be ready in three hours, so I ran errands and checked back in at 12:30, to be told that Daisy was "difficult" and I would receive a call when she was ready. I was also told that she needed a "full cut" for which the charge would be a "little more." When I received the call I picked her up shortly after 2:00. Her face had been "poodleized;" apart from a rough job on her paws and nails, none of the other services ordinarily covered by a puppy grooming, let alone a "full grooming," had been done; she smelled to me like a bordello I imagine. And I was charged $86.50, more than a "little more." I paid just to get her out of the place. The real damage showed up after we arrived home. Daisy's right ear was so tender that she yelped and pulled away when we touched it, and she was constantly at her underside which was clearly troubling her. Early Friday morning, I called and asked to speak to the owner. I was told that she was not available and would call me later in the day. When we hadn't gotten word, my wife called again at the end of the day. It's past midday Monday and we still haven't heard from anyone. Daisy's ear is still troubling her, so she will see her vet to assess the damage. If there were negative stars black holes I would award those. Our puppy feels hurt and we feel cheated. And ignored. What did I want? What we asked for at the price quoted. If the groomer wasn't capable of providing that, then I wish they had called with a "you have a difficult puppy come and get her" message. Failing all of that, we'd like our money refunded along with an apology. Dr Sri called on Monday afternoon to apologize, offer her services free of charge and tender a refund of the $45 difference between what we were originally quoted and the amount we were charged. She also explained that the grooming service and veterinary practice are separate operations. Our experience was with the former. We appreciated Dr. Sri's genuine concern and offer of help. We also appreciate the prompt handling of the refund. Daisy visited her vet today for a wellness exam, was treated for an ear infection and then given a clean bill of health.
