The mission of Bluestar Medical is to provide compassionate, ever evolving, individualized care and treatment to patients of all ages, both insured and uninsured.
Serving the greater Fort Lauderdale area, Bluestar Medical, P.A. offers a variety of family medicine services in a modern, inviting setting. In addition to primary care, we specialize in addiction treatment services tailored to suit each individual patient.
Some general medical services include, but are not limited to: physical exams, sports physical exams, pap smears, pre-operative physical exams, DOT Physicals, hearing and vision exams, vaccinations, suturing, laceration and burns, pre-exposure prophylaxis, post-exposure prophylaxis, HIV diagnosis and medication management, hepatitis C management, and sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment.
Addiction Medicine services include, but are not limited to: evaluation and recommendations for treatment placement based on ASAM guidelines as well as physician directed home detoxification from alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, and stimulants.
A phone answering service will be utilized outside of office hours to attend to any urgent needs and a physician will be available 24 hours for emergency.
