Bluestone Jewelry is located in beautiful Tahoe City, Ca overlooking an amazing view of Lake Tahoe. We also have another location in historic downtown Truckee. We create memories of the time that is spent with loved ones and friends in the Tahoe Truckee area. We are proud to be able to display our unique designs and designers in jewelry and artwork. Some of the services we provide our customers is jewelry repair, "re-purposing", watch batteries and creating jewelry that is special and unique just for you.

We were visiting from out of town and I stopped in to get my mom a birthday gift. The owner was extremely kind as was his wonderful doodle Ollie. I unfortunately didn’t get the woman at the front desks name but she helped me so so much. Showing me pieces in my price range, explaining how the differences effect price, and explained the different stones to me :
We were visiting from out of town and ducked in here and it was amazing! We went in as my friend was recently proposed to and wanted to learn about rings. First greeted by Ollie the doodle and then a wonderful staff. Benton spent the better part of an hour just sitting with us both and explaining ring styles, showing tons of different pieces and shapes. He took detailed notes and was so kind and friendly to work with. Zero pressure, great conversation, would recommend to anyone looking for a great jewelry experience! They also had a really beautiful selection of jewelry with different stones and unique styles you don't usually see.
I’ve been buying jewelry here for years. Benton, the owner, is always so helpful and nice. The jewelry is beautiful! I have so many pieces from here and a great place to buy gifts. Highly recommend. Their store in Truckee is really nice too. It’s always my first stop when going to Tahoe!!
Bluestone Jewelry is amazing! They had an awesome selection with a wide variety of choices. I got this beautiful crescent moon necklace and earrings for my mom. When I had an issue with the necklace, they were really quick to respond, super nice and didn't hesitate to fix the issue. If we're ever back in the Tahoe area, we'll definitely be visiting again!

Benton was most helpful, patient and never pushy. I had admired the Lake Tahoe pendants for a while and decided to choose one. I was most attracted to the diamond outlined blue topaz and he helped me with the style and choosing white or yellow gold. Benton explained the different chains and clasps to match our taste and lifestyle for wear. We are so glad to have found this “gem” of a jewelry store with quality Lake Tahoe designs. I like that they have a “wish list”, too, making gift giving ideas easier.
Bluestone helped my fiancé and I create our custom wedding rings. They were always so friendly, caring, and super helpful. We absolutely love our rings, they couldn’t have done a better job…we highly recommend them!
As we entered Blue Stone we were happily greeted by Ollie, Bluestone’s mascot; A loving, beautiful Goldendoodle. While drooling over all the lovely jewelry, we were helped by Benton who was so very accommodating. He is very knowledgeable and extremely courteous. He was patient and kind as we went from one case to another asking to see certain pieces. There was one piece we were interested in which we were interested in customizing to which he obliged, changing the Emerald Bay gemstone to be in the actual lake of the necklace. Benton was very helpful and accommodating as I tried different length chains for a pendant I was interested in. There are a lot of original works of art in this gem of a store. That, coupled with A+ customer service made our experience outstanding. Thank you Benton for all of your help and for bending over backward to accommodate us.
I recently bought a customized damascus ring from Bluestone Jewelry. The service was perfect and I got my ring right on time. Its a beautiful peice of work, exactly what I was looking for. I would feel very confident using Bluestone Jewelry again. Thank you!
I should start by saying that I very rarely write reviews, but I had such a great experience that I owe it to Bluestone Jewelry! I worked with Benton on designing & creating an engagement ring for my fiancée and it could not have been a better process & result. I had gone to a few shops in the Reno-Tahoe area and Benton made me feel much more at home than anyone else. Benton was a great partner throughout the entire process. From creating mockups to choosing the diamonds he was very patient and knowledgeable. As someone who knew very little about the process beforehand I felt much better knowing I could count on the folks over at Bluestone's expertise. We ended up with a beautiful ring that my fiancée absolutely loves.
