The Blytheville Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency of the city. Assisting agencies consist of MCSO and Ark State Police.
The Blytheville Police Department consist of sworn full time officers and support staff operating Patrol, CID and Records divisions. The Department also oversees full-time dispatch, code enforcement, animal control and corrections.
The Mission of the Blytheville Police Department is to provide the community with a quality, progressive law enforcement service, that suppresses and eliminates criminal activity, promotes a positive perception of the community, and address all conditions that have a detrimental impact on public safety. To fulfill our mission we must continually seek the respect, support and cooperation from the community we serve on the fundamental principle that the public and police are one.
