This service is a blessing. I was unable to find it
Donated here quite often. TIP - don't use the place to clear out your old canned goods. Food banks aren't a garbage dump for your old and unwanted canned food! Rule of thumb, if you don't want to eat it, neither do needy families. ALSO - you know what would be best for a food bank? Not silly canned goods that they have to pay someone every day to sort through, but two or five bucks, the money you would have spent on some canned goods! They have deals with local producers for fresh vegetables and food! Two dollars can buy ten dollars of fresh produce! now that's helping out your community!
Visited to assist in food distribution event. Our group broke down unit containers into smaller bags to include in boxes given out. Fruits, vegetables, bread, apple juice, frozen ground meat. All donated foodstuffs.
There ok but long lines for help they help the rich that’s what I don’t agree with

The BMAC Food Bank is q place to get supplemental food supplies and is for those on low incomes. You have to fill out paperwork and be put on the waiting list.
You can get help with food good place.
After we moved, had several banana boxes left over, the BMAC Foodbank uses those, so my contact with them was to donate those empty boxes to them to use for feeding the low income people.
Love the info we get in the cooking class prior to getting the food box. Anyone age 60 + qualifies.
