The Boathouse Café is located in Passaic's Third Ward Park. The old boathouse has undergone extensive renovations to convert it to a modern café.



"The old Boathouse has been renovated into a modern cafe where all are welcome! The Boathouse Cafe is situated in the park, right on the water. We proudly serve Intelligentsia Coffee and Espresso along with food that’s made-to-order and tons of ice cream! We have seating inside and on our patio overlooking Hugh’s Lake along with free wifi. We love to serve our community and can’t wait to see you at the Boathouse Cafe!"

Cute little cafe situated in Passaic park in a nice quiet neighborhood. Although "boathouse cafe" is misleading as there are no boats :/. Came here after practicing volleyball and it satisifed although my chicken caesar panini sandwich portion size was quite small, other that staff were lind and attentive and would swing by again when in the area.
Amazing amazing, they attend to us as as we got in, the ice cream is delicious!!!!!!. Love this place
I used to like this location but they changed there organic fresh coffee to another brand that's way to acid not strong enough and no taste whatsoever. Food is the same not so great. It's disappointing because a place like this should served high-end coffee at least.
Nice little cafe near a small pond. They don’t offer a ton of different options, but what I’ve tried so far was good, besides the pastries that aren’t great. Would recommend for a coffee or a quick lunch.
Nice and beautiful place, but almost $9.00 for two coffee is too much. Ripped off my money. High way robbery Update: I made this review over a week ago and owner just replied one hour ago, suggested or I am a liar or I don't know what I'm. My friend, is embarrassing because if you see my pictures, you will see more than 20 pictures over the time, Than I made from this place. I am always buy from you and I know you and your staff. And now you're saying maybe I misunderstand the place...
I have been here many a time. I come here with my daughter for lunch on nice sunny days as they have a patio area on the lake/pond in the middle of the park. It’s great to watch the ducks, geese and other wildlife scuffle around. We get food, I get an iced coffee, and they have ice cream in cups, or cones, as well as pre-packaged ice cream treats like, toasted almond bars, strawberry shortcake and ice cream sandwiches. The whole family likes coming here and we enjoy going to the park afterwards as well. All around, a great stop for anyone grabbing a bite or just wanting to get a drink and hang by the pond and people watch, you can’t go wrong.
This is THE go-to spot for park goers. There is coffee, tea, sandwiches, ice cream, outdoor and indoor wearing, and a nice view. The chicken caprese sandwich is great, but you can also just get a hot dog and go on your walk.
Love this café! It's located in the middle of the park by the pond. The sandwiches delicious, the atmosphere peaceful. The people that work there very nice and friendly. This has become one of my favorite places.
I came here on a week day to study. There was plenty of parking and it wasnt busy so that was great. The location is cozy and adorably decorated, plus it’s coffee and food was delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. Although, it did get a bit chilly since i dont think they have the heat working.
