I really wanted to give 5 Stars but my coffee cup went dry. Late Sunday morning breakfast. Not too busy, got a table. Everything Breakfast was very good. Wait staff was friendly. WiFi speedy. Bathroom clean. I love Bob Evans, wish they were in Phoenix. However can't compromise on my coffee stance
Honestly, we used to go to Bob Evans a lot, but the food and service got to be really poor - consistently really poor. This was our first time back in years, and the food and service were much better. While still not the finest of dining, the food is decent and was not too greasy. Service was good, we were a group of 7 and had no trouble. Our drinks were kept full. Vegetarian options: Plenty of breakfast options can be vegetarian if you get them without meat. While you're making changes often, it is pretty easy to do.
I’m guessing my carryout order was cooked at about 7:30 pm- 7:45 pm. The individual who cooked my eggs over-medium, did so perfectly. I’ve ordered over-medium eggs quite a bit from this location and from another popular breakfast establishment locally, and this is the first time in a long while that my eggs were actually cooked over-medium instead of still containing slime. Everything else in my order was perfect as well. Thank you!!!
Was a wait to be seated and a wait for food. Busy and short staffed. But waitress was doing her best and everyone was friendly. Ordered avacodo veggie bowl and got a double meat bowl but wasn't disappointed. It was busy and I was hungry.Food: 4/5
Hostess said she couldn't seat us in a booth because she didn't have time to clean it. An older waitress was kind enough to clean the births table and seat us and she was an excellent server. I'd fire the girl wearing the topknot. She doesn't know the meaning of customer service.Food: 5/5
Was a nice time. Was with my family and my father in law was meeting with an old friend. Food was good as normal. Didn't get to drink my new favorite as they were out of the pomegranate for the drink. But there is always next year when we are back in the area. The menu has always had a variety of choices for whatever you want wheither breakfast, lunch or dinner. Good to have choices for those picky eaters.
Usually the food is pretty good and well prepared, but this time it was quickly put together and thrown in boxes. Over cooked potatoes and burnt bacon. Plus you forgot the pancake topping, and last time you forgot the Family size sausage gravy. Thus an unfortunate lackluster review. I even tipped 20%, hoping to get a little extra care on order. Oh well
Waited at least 20 minutes to be seated in an area with many tables open but not cleaned. Short staffed it seemed. Drinks and order taken, food didn't arrive for 45 minutes, and seemed as if it set in the window for a bit. Wife's order was veggie skillet and received an all meat skillet, I had the avacado southwest omelet, sounded better than it tasted, mediocre food.
Some friends, my wife and I planned on Sunday lunch together here today. A family emergency kept them from arriving . . . we elected to eat since we were there. The first thing we found . . . was no line . . . went straight in . . . and to a table. I thought that was good . . . not sure it was in retrospect. The air conditioning was turned to meat locker temperature . . . I had to get up and move . . . the next couple who sat down there also were unhappy with arctic air dumping in them. It took 40 to 45 minutes go go from seated to served in a restaurant that was considerably less than half full on an early Sunday afternoon. My food just bordered on being cold . . . and steak and eggs are not eaten cold . . . at least not by me. I managed to get them down. The server took another 10 minutes to find a couple of jelly/jam packages . . . other servers in other restaurants keep them in their apron pockets . . . this one did not. The toast was not only hard and stale . . . but was cold as well. Less than happy??? Yeah . . . may be a long time before I'm back in there again.
Waited for over 10 minutes to be seated they was not busy at all hardly any customers. Once seated waitress to our drink order and brought drinks. Waited for another 45 minutes for our food and decided to go up and ask.. manager was rude and asked "why are you up at the counter and what do you want" simply asked if they knew how much longer it would be before we get out food. Manager said that we will get it when it's done.. lady in the back yelled to the front and states " The more people ask the longer I'm gonna take!! Very unsatisfied with the management and the unprofessionalism from the staff.. I will never come back to this place again and I will tell everyone I know about the piss poor service!!!!
