Our server was extremely attentive and kind. The Cod was amazing. The gravy was weirdly thin but flavorful and not hot ugh. The choices of salad dressing were slim. Eggs were cooked perfectly! Very relaxing environment. We had a problem with one of our orders but the server quickly resolved it.
Service was very good and food was very tasty. It didn't come out fast but it was an okay amount of time. Food presentation was beautiful on every dish and everyone loved their entrees. Haven't been here for several years but used to come weekly. Vegetarian options: One of the six people in our group was vegetarian and she was able to easily find multiple options on what to order. Her entree was fresh and tasty! Kid-friendliness: Good menu options for kids. Parking: Parking is available on the front three sides of the building and is usually plentiful but they do get busy.
Let me just say that I have worked at this Bob Evans for 3 years and I see the reviews! And I get it! Let me just say that we have new bosses all the way around and they care and hiring new employees! We want you who has said they won’t be back to come and see much differences and how much we appreciate you coming in to our restaurant! New year GREAT BOSSES!!! GIVES GREAT EMPLOYEES! MAKES GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
The new Thanksgiving Sandwich has so much potential to be so good. With a little less stuffing, more than 1/2 teaspoon cranberry sauce. I can almost taste the difference. I must admit it was still good, but really has the potential to be great. Oh yes, don’t forget the pickles.
Food is always great and nicely cooked, the establishment is moderately clean. However when busy they seem to be a bit disorganized as well as running all over the place. The cashier :Laura; seems to get sidetracked about every 40sec due to only having one cashier in the front. While other members of the staff were sipping on drinks, and the waiting list goes for around 40 mins.
Ordered curbside pickup because I have mobility issues. I waiting 20 minutes calling the phone number several times but no one would answer, so I ended up going inside. Once I got inside I realized what the problem was they're so grossly understaffed they simply didn't have time to answer the phone. The lady couldn't find my order but said she remembered making it then realized someone else had taken it so she made my order again. I felt so bad for the poor woman they were literally meeting themselves coming and going. Not the best experience but I will say the food was delicious.
We were there once and ordered soup and sandwich and was told soup was frozen and won’t be ready soon. So we tried again another day.. Soup and 1/2 sandwich. We sat there for 45 minutes waiting for that. I asked waitress what was wrong and she said they had a lot of carry out deliveries. Never knew they were more important than a sit down customer. Will never go back again.
They are more concerned with filling Door Dash orders than accommodating the people that are there to eat. We stood in the waiting area for 30 minutes. Not one time did they seat anyone, but processed 6 door dash orders.
I haven’t even left the table but had to leave a terrible review. When we arrived, there were barely any tables. We sat for an hour and thirty minutes before we were finally served our food. We were served cold sausage and one serving of hash browns the size of a spoon. Bacon was burned. It was so bad that the server had the manager comp the whole meal. Honestly the server was the only good part of the meal.
This was a really nice Bob Evans. It is still a bob Evans but they did everything right this morning. The service was spot on - the food was prepared correctly - the place was clean - what more can you ask for?
