This place stays busy. That is always a good sign. Food was cooked right and fast. Store and bathrooms were clean. This is a go to restaurant when we are not sure we're else to go.Food: 5/5
Terrible. I came for breakfast at 9am. I used the restroom before I was seated. The restroom was disgusting dirty. They evidently don't clean them for it to be this dirty early in the morning. I ordered the double meat breakfast with pancakes.My pancakes looked terrible half bent over all three were different colors like they were half cooked and they were. Bacon did not taste fresh. It tasted like it was old and no good. Never again. I have never been this unsatisfied with a restaurant.
From the start when we entered the restaurant, we did not feel welcome by the hostess/server. She seated us and said that she would be our server, asked what we wanted to drink and appeared irritated when we didn't respond quickly enough because we took our time to tell her the drinks we wanted. Off she went to get the drinks. When she returned she asked what we wanted, appeared irritated again when my wife said she was still deciding, then went quickly away again. Returning it seemed every 5 mins to ask what we wanted to order, again with attitude. Once we ordered and the food arrived, it appeared that she'd calmed down some and once we finished she quickly brought the check to pay at the front. Of course there was no cashier at the front and we waited at least 15 minutes for one to appear as a line began to grow. Our server told us to go to one cash checkout machine, but once the cashier arrived she went to the second cash machine where another customer was waiting who did not mention that we were there first. Anyhow she took care of this lady first then we were able to pay our check. Had she been there earlier thus confusion would not have happened since she would have been available to observe her station. Anyhow, we will not be returning to dine at THIS Bob Evans restaurant in Waldorf, MD.
I have visited this location for breakfast several times. Unfortunately, dined in late afternoon to find dirty restroom, questionable people seating inside with bags, at the tables sleeping, and only 1 waiter. I didn't leave because the waitress was friendly and listened to my concerns. I didn't finish my meal due to my concerns and a craving for breakfast food. I would never go there again. Also, the outside walkway in front of store needs a power wash. My original rating for this location a year ago was 4 stars; currently 1 star.
The entire experience was not great to say the least. This is the 1st Bob Evans I’ve encountered to not have crayons to go with the kids meal. The waitress was great. However I don’t know if it was the cooks first day or what but how do you mess eggs up. The eggs were so sugary, the had browns had a weird taste to them too, the rest of the meal was average. I don’t recommend this location.
Love Bob Evans however they need to be better with customer service and time. Too many waiters just sitting around and the professionalism is non existent while conversing with each other. They should be mindful of customer ears.
There was a wait to be seated, which was no problem. To minmize confusion we informed our waitress we had two seperate bills. There were only four us. No special orders or drinks. The waitress was very rude. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Which was incorrect. Our appetizer came out after our entrees. Our two tabs were a jumbled mess. Instead of waiting another 20 minutes for her to come back to the table and another 30minutes to fix the tab. We paid it and left. We will not return nor bring or recommend this place to anyone.
Usually I would order and be able to pick up my food with no issue, even during holidays I understand there’s a wait, but when the staff is rude and act is if I’m causing an issue that’s when I have a problem. The lady I spoke with in the phone was rude, I went inside she was rude didn’t ask for my name or what I order jus that it wasn’t ready. It’s the holiday season understand it’s busy.. then acknowledge your guest wait time.
Only had to wait 20 mins on a late Saturday morning for a table. Server was nice and attentive, kept our drinks full without us having to ask. Brought everything out promptly. Food was pretty good, only gave 4 stars cuz there werent any breakfast meat options for someone who is pescatarian I settled for turkey sausage. But overall experience was great! Vegetarian options: No vegan meat options Parking: PLENTY of free parking, large parking lot
I came in with my mom and 11 month old daughter shocked to be told there was a 15 min wait considering my small party and there was no one else waiting. I was told they only had 2 servers. During the wait a party of 2 left and we were seated approx 5 mins or so afterwards. Immediately after seating us, another gentleman walked in and was seated immediately. so that table was open all along...and who's serving him? The same person seeing us. Unprofessional and just down right ignorance.
