Very interesting Bob Evans experience. I came in here and requested a booth as my back was not up for the chairs. My waitress insisted that there was none available, but when I pointed to one that was available, you could tell she didn't like that. I found out that they have sections, and she did not like that. I wanted to go to a different section so I could get a booth. Anyway, the different waitresse was very professional and understanding. After ordering, I had to leave momentarily for 10 minutes and promised that I would be back. After doing the quick errand, I came back and found that my food was ready for me and it was delicious as ever. I tried to ignore the angry glares from the first waitress. The food was great and the service was great.
Sign of the times. Not enough help. Food was good and what staff and employees are left we're pleasant and courteous but wait times can be quite challenging.Food: 4/5
Unfortunate experience tonight. Of our four dinners, one had cold fries, one had uncooked chicken, and one didn’t even show up to the table before we left. The servers were doing their best but the kitchen was yelling at them and clearly not producing correct orders. They were entirely out of biscuits during dinner service. Odd for a place that sells shirts that say “Biscuits & Gravy”
So, we traveled through Streetsboro OH and thought to try Bob Evans for the first time. What a disappointment! The Most unfriendliest restaurant I have ever been to. As we walked in, no one welcomed us, and the host never acknowledged us with a hello or even a smile. She seemed bothered by us. The waitress wouldn't look at me when I would ask her questions and she would only look at my husband when she had an answer. Waitress never checked back with us to refill water. Waited 30 minutes or so for our meals, wasn't busy at all. Food was good. Went to pay and again the host was not friendly or smiled.
The service was excellent, however the portions were very small for the priceFood: 3/5
7/10/23 Was told 15 - 20 minute wait, 6 to 7 customer get done eating & leave, randomly she sat one new couple, then 2 more finished & left, every time a couple would leave you had at least another 5 to 6 minute wait before she sat a new couple down, a young lady with her elderly veteran father stood up because they knew they were next to be called, her father was elderly needed assistance to walk, and the lady that was sitting people was so rude and nasty. She’s been there for several years and she just isn’t friendly customers I should be. She only sat three people down from the time that we arrived. We were there a good 45 minutes. I got up and looked and seen more than over have to tables were empty, but they would not sit customers at them. I used to work Bob Evans many years ago , the manager used to come out and help when us girls needed it. There was no help from any managers and there was rude greeter , cashier, we have been at friendlier location in Streetsboro Ohio. After 45 minute wait, we walked out.
I used to love going to Bob Evans as a kid in Ohio. We visited the Streetsboro restaurant with family, and they're regular customers. The server knew them and was very friendly. There are plenty of appealing menu options, and most average about $12. As always, the dinner rolls are the best. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entrance for those in wheelchairs. Wide aisle ways between tables.
Not Good! Staff was aggravated not nice. We waited a long time to sit. Then even longer for food. They had lots of open tables ...no staff..Don't waste your time .. go to Jim's just up the street..much betterFood: 1/5
Seating and Service employees were very nice. Food wise was just ok Over easy eggs came out broke. Supervisor unwilling to swap the potatoes for toast, so ordered side of toast and it came out burnt. They did replace it, but will stick to the Kent location ... they allow substitution and quality overall seems better.
Very good homey food with great service. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I wish there was a Bob Evans near me in New Jersey.Food: 4/5
