Bob's Barbecue

I'm confused...I apologize to the owner, but this review is not a good one. Your staff were polite, but this establishment is confusing. I entered Bob's BBQ, and started to order. "I'll take a beef platter. Is it brisket?" Worker, confused, kindly replied "No, it's not it's just beef. Sorry I don't know much it's just here when we get here." Confused "...is it smoked?" Worker checks with cook "no, it's just beef" ..."Ok, I'll take the pork then. Is it pulled pork?" Worker checks with cook again "yes it's pulled pork." I ask: "Is it smoked?" Worker: "Yes, the pork is smoked." Worker brought me my food. I got pulled pork, but as an amateur meat smoker I know this was crock pot pulled pork. No smoke lines, no bark, wet, with crock pot taste. The pork was...ok. It wasn't what I ordered, and it wasn't BBQ. Is this not a BBQ place?

I'm reviewing this place right now because I live half an hour away I recently lived about 5 minutes away and I miss it. Damn. The loaded potatos here would make TWO meals for me. They are truly loaded with lots of everything. Other restaurants' loaded potatos are a cruel joke compared to this place. Hell I might make the drive right now just to get one.

I love the food and the prices have always been ok. However, I just tried to order at Grubhub. Since they close at 2, I pre-ordered at 11:30 for a 1:30 delivery. They accepted the order then cancelled it around 1. Extremely frustrating!

Stop by for the first time this afternoon for dinner ordered pork plate askvfor mild BBQ sauce got nothing not only that got back to work no napkins no fork no spoon no nothing and they where not busy at all. None the less it was my first and last vist

Ordered a picnic pack for a bereavement. They shoved 2 lbs. Of BBQ, backed beans, coleslaw, rolls, bag of chips in one bag. I asked for another paper bag so I could separate, hot, cold, and not be so heavy. I got the look of I had two heads, deer in headlight look. I can only hope the food was good. In addition, clean your air returns. There was black stuff all over them. Can only imagine that blows all over restaurant. Sorry standards are lacking.

been coming here since moving here in 05 and tonight i am left with no other choice but to write this review. i only order the ribs the bone is boss and tonight's order of half rack was quite possible the worst bbq i have ever had in all the years i have eaten ribs. they were tough and full of fat. the only thing they were not full of is rib bones. there were two small end cuts thats it. the taste was disgusting and the grill marks showed someone smashed them flat to the grill. i will not be eating here again and i will strongly urge anyone who has a taste for ribs to STAY AWAY from this establishment.

The potato salad was very good, the portions were very small for the price. The medium potato salad was only enough for one person. I guess the small would be the size of a salad dressing container. The Cole slaw was terrible, all I could taste was pepper and lettuce. We got the ribs and though they were good sized, they had no flavor, very bland and several pieces were burnt. This was a take away order. The ribs were also very dry. I was really hoping for a good BBQ place near us. The BBQ place next to Food Lion has great ribs but the guys attitude there sucks. Just can't win with BBQ ribs around here.

I found this restaurant online, went to their website and figured out what I wanted to order. I called and place my order with a man who was very impatient and snapped at me when I ordered "6 wings and 2 sides" instead asking for the platter....anyway, I went to pick up and said said the total was $11.99 I very politely retold my order and stated their website has it listed for $7.99. He then said they've been locked out of their website and this is the price now very rudely. I said I'm sorry, but I was expecting to pay the price on their website, linked to their Google ad. He said oh well and let me walk out

Went placed a large order for 8 plates and 2 pork sandwiches. Said numerous times I wanted extra slaw on sandwiches and extra vinegar ON SIDE. I reiterated this more than once. Only to get back to see no extra vinegar. So I called just to be told it was put on sandwiches. Well checking there was definitely no vinegar on one and the second one was so soggy it tore apart. This was a lunch I bought for all my co workers at a restaurant, only for me not to be able to eat it. I do not eat dry sandwiches. Very disappointed especially after spending almost $100

Never open even though it’s says there supposed to be this the 3rd time, guess time to find another barbecue joint
