Bocce’s is the place to go for live music, good food and drinks. Parking was challenging, they charge a cover charge at the door and it was a bit packed. Service was great but a little slow. The band did a great job and we have excellent seats. The set up is more like a restaurant with booths and tables to choose from. You are seated by a hostess so no worries about not being able to find a seat. Overall had a really good time with my Bae during our visit.
My wife and I stopped in for early dinner at about 4:00 p.m. while passing through this South Chicago suburb, because the Google rating was over 4.5 stars. I suppose Bocce's is OK for a neighborhood place. The few people there seemed to be enjoying themselves at the bar. But the restaurant could use additional refinements in how the food is cooked/prepared, some enhanced cleaning, along with modernization of the old dark wooden interior. Be advised that a 15% gratuity is added on to all checks/bills. Our waitress was nice and attentive, so we gave her some additional cash in addition to the built-in gratuity.
I enjoyed the band. The food and drinks were great, service was amazing. I'll /we'll be back Friday for birthday drinks food and good music.
First time visiting this establishment. I was invited by friends to hear the band on a Friday night, which was great by the way, and the guy who was the lead singer had really good vocal skills. The food was tasty. I had a great time, a nice atmosphere, a good mature crowd, and will definitely be going again. By the way ladies nice clean bathroom for us.
I have been here twice now, and I tell you their Chicken Noodle Soup and Chicken Tenders are so yummy. I didn't like the chicken breast sandwich it was dry even with the barbecue sauce added. The drinks are good and the service is great!Food: 4/5
Average bar or restaurant food with subpar service. They use styrofoam containers to serve you the food at your table. They do not care about the environment at all. The bartender takes up to 10 minutes to bring you a tap beer even when not busy. On top of that, they charge a 15% service charge that when asked, I was told it goes to all employees to share. It should be in lieu of a tip which I can accept that idea, but they solicit another tip by asking on the check for a suggested tip 3 times starting at 18% to 20% to 25%. So they suggest tips starting at a total of 33% plus. This means I will not be visiting again. My guess is they will wonder why they do not attract guests like they used to. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were not even warm. The busboy was cool. I suggested they just heat them up in the microwave, he said no, new fries. Ok. The sandwich was just OK, so were the fries.
Great atmosphere. Food is great. There was a live band there, and they were amazing. Pricing is reasonable and you get huge portions of food.Food: 5/5
Just made it back to Illinois from being gone for some years, but never the less I enjoyed the karaoke and I miss the food here in Illinois. I really enjoyed myself
I’ll keep this short. Don’t go here during the day while the odd manager named Sherry is working. She’s VERY unprofessional. I’m not sure why but she’s also a bartender who can’t make a marg to save her life. $20 for a splash of casa Migos is crazy. On top of that, they never gave us our salad during our meal which we paid for. After we told them they said that our price was our price even though we never got our food -_- So I told her I’d leave her a review.
Went in for a afternoon lunch waited 7 minutes to be acknowledged at the door to be seated. Peaked around the corner and asked the bar tender if there was someone coming to seat me and she seemed irritated that I interrupted her conversation and more or less told me to go back and wait. I went next door to Red Lobster and couldn’t open the door fast enough before I was greeted!
