I love body pump and spin - such great workouts with great instructors. Only downside at our location - Boerne TX - classes fill up so fast! With the push going on to increase membership numbers we will need more classes! My kids also love the childcare which is a HUGE win for this homeschool mama!
Lovely place with friendly staff. It would be nice if they had 10lb bumper plates for beginners to deadlift with. Everything else was pretty ideal.
For a small town Y it's great. They offer classes, all kinds of equipment including TRX. They don't have a sauna or a pool which I would love. They also have add on, paid for classes/coaching. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Yoga class is great except that they keep the room too cold. For stretching it should be kept warmer. Nice and clean facility.
My family loves coming to this Y. Great friendly environment with clean and taken care of equipment. The childcare workers are the best and my children love coming to the gym with me. The workout area is on the smaller side but there are plenty of machines and weights that I have never had a problem getting a workout in on crowded days. Only con is there in NO pool but that's not that big of a deal. I highly recommend this location.
Great staff that recognize you and becomes like family after a while! Fellow gym-goers are friendly and supportive; you'll see familiar faces and meet new ones. 15 treadmills, 6 recumbent bikes, 2 stationary bikes, 1 char cycle, 16 ellipticals multiple types, and 2 stair masters ... and that's just in the main cardio room. In other areas, there are at least 4 rowers and a classroom full of spin bikes. If weights are on your itinerary, they have Cybex pulley weights, Precor multi-station, 16 weight machines, and the standard squat rack, bench press, leg press, and dumbbells. A myriad of programs, classes, and community events are also on the calendar. Get a personal trainer if you need assistance, and childcare is available during most hours. Of course, all the aforementioned things were before SARS-CoV-2 closure on 03/19/2020. Today 06/01/2020 is the first day they re-opened, so things will be different than before; please be flexible and understanding. They close for a few hours mid-day for cleaning. Currently, every other cardio machine is shut-off to ensure social distancing.

Terrible service, do not recommend. I’ve always been rushed when it’s near close time—can never focus on my workout. In fact, Lucy, one of the employee’s called me and was very rude—she told me I could leave the gym if I wasn’t happy with the way they ran things. On one occasion, my daughters hand got stuck between the elevator doors under their supervision. Very disappointing experience after being a member for more than 2 years.
The Boerne Y has done a fantastic job keeping us all moving in the right direction ~ healthy! It’s being deeply cleaned daily between 1-3. Classes are reserved 24 hours in advance, temperatures are taken upon arrival & masks are required to enter. Thanks to all our Y employees & instructors!‍‍
The team is AMAZING !! Truly caters to all ages! Want a good challenge? Look up Karen's classes, she'll make your heart beat the kid program are diverse and inclusive! Give it a shot!! And become part of the family
