Bogarts is a very special hair salon that provides personal and caring service with exceptional pricing. I was very impressed when the phone was answered by a real person who was attentive to my request. I was able to get in at last minute with Christine who is an outstanding hair stylist. She made me go from frumpy to gorgeous! Christine is a very knowledgeable and made me feel I was getting the best service possible. I highly recommend seeing her - as Christine is reflective and can do anything you want!!!  The entire salon felt wonderful; it’s an open, collaborative work and service environment. Super pleased with my second haircut from Regan the Barber! She’s thorough and great attention to detail. Highly recommend going to see Regan for your next cut.

We all know that it is very important to have a clear communication with your stylist, on both sides, to obtain the result you want; unfortunately for me I had the wrong color dark brown in my hair but thanks Tanya I was able to recover the closest color to my natural tone without the need to mistreat my hair, it was definitely a good decision to choose her for this correction, she is a really dedicated stylist, you can see and feel in your hair how much she loves her work! I attach the two photos of the color difference, my natural hair is curly and without a doubt she takes care of my curls throughout the process! ‍

10/10. The staff here are very friendly and professional.  Been looking for a regular place to go for a haircut and beard trim and I'm happy to have come across Bogart's. I was asked to show pictures to ensure I would get the look I was going for. I appreciate Carla taking her time to discuss things before getting to the cut. Prices are great compared to other Hair Salons/Barbershops in Waterloo but their service is what really sets them apart.  As mentioned in prior reviews they aren't rushing to get your hair cut and get you out the door, I can vouch for that.  Safe to say I will be returning!Service:&nbsp;Scissor cut

I think the hair stylists here are amazing. They love their jobs and aren't rushed to chop chop and let you go. They wanna understand what it is that you want and take time to tell you what would and wouldn't work for you. The studio is clean and well maintained with mellow lighting and you feel calm and relaxed while getting your hair done. They don't try to push products on you like most other saloons.

got a haircut, i tipped a decent amount. when i got home and double checked the hair at the back of my head was jagged and not faded. would not recomend

I have been going to Bogarts for 6 or 7 years. Carla, the new owner, congratulations! has been cutting my hair the whole time. I recently moved 3.5 hours away but I was in town on Saturday and got a Carla to tidy me up. She is efficient, friendly, listens and talks in equal amounts, and best of all she gives me the best haircut I could ask for.Service:&nbsp;Scissor cut

After years and three separate and very expensive trips to different salons, I've finally struck gold with Tanya and Bogart's. My dream has always been to go blonde, and time after time I left disappointed and brassy rather than the dreamy blonde I wanted. One appointment with Tanya not only fixed my hair ask her about the minerals in our water! but gave me the creamy colour I so badly wanted. Her extensive knowledge and experience made for fascinating chats. She really knows her stuff, and made the long appointment feel short and exciting. I learned a lot about doing my hair from her! Bogart's is also a lovely salon where everyone was warm and friendly and I didn't feel like I was being judged the moment I walked in like in all the other salons I've been to. I highly highly recommend Tanya and Bogart's for any hair needs you may have. I know I'll definetly be back for more!  Before Tanya's magic, and after!
