We had a large party and the experience was fun! 3/4 of the way into our float we had 2 members of our party with big holes in their tubes. A man on a beach we stopped at called the tubing center for a boat to bring more tubes and they did! Lots of trees and stuff under the water that made it a bit tricky to navigate safely at times. Prices were reasonable. Overall, a lot of fun!
Great way to spend 5 hours floating and stopping at random sandbars. $25 cash and $5 extra for cooler tub.. 2hr float & a 4hr.. Great time!
Update: notice how the owner responds to reviews. No punctuation, spelling errors, strange threats. I was skeptical that the staff were under the influence, but now it's all adding up. I would not recommend. Long lines, the water is gross and murky with lots of down trees that your children's feet and ankles will get cut on. They also do not try to control the amount of partying going on, hopefully you enjoy the smell of pot and sight of beer cans in the water while you're floating. Staff are rude, unprofessional, and do not honor the military discount advertised. There are plenty of other tubing places nearby.
Update: went again. Review still stands. Tons of down trees and trees you cant see under water that hurt members of my party. Pros: Good staff. Good tubes. Cons: a lot more trees In river than in the past. A lot of obstacles and sections where it’s more fallen trees than available floating space. Took some of fun out of the experience as it’s hard to relax when you’re caught up anticipating avoiding the next fallen tree or landslide area. -Buses have mold on the seats Overall recommend. To reply to the comment below: it was not your first open weekend! Thanks.
We had a great time! River was low, so we had to navigate around a lot of trees and walk through some low spots, but good sandbars to stop and take a break. Pretty clean minus some deflated tubes every so often. Very reasonable price for what can be an all-day family outing.
A nice summer weekend adventure!! Shuttle service was excellent and float time is fairly accurate, a little longer actually. Only downfall is river has lots of down trees to dodge. Also a lot deeper than expected and spotted a small alligator on the bank halfway through. A cooler tube is perfect for holding phones, shoes, snacks, sunscreen, etc. Ticket booth also holds your keys free of charge!
Our family and friends had a great time, great staff and don't forget to tip. Wyatt and Caleb helped everyone start floating in good spirits. This place is way better priced ride then the folks right next door with their nose in the air also a way better section of river with great spots to explore. We had the best time tubing with way better section of river with nice water flow, great place to take your family and make good memories Here. Mention the chimney guy, and also always keep the beaches clean of litter for all families and friends. We will be back here several times this year and hopefully years to come for great floating, With love from your local chimney guy.
Went on a Monday so very few people on the water. Really had a great time so very little to fault. At times you do need to be prepared to navigate underwater trees, so probably not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Small kids will be fine as long as they have an adult to help out from time to time. Some rude people partying but that's not really under their control- we just let them pass and kept our distance.
My family and I did the 4 hour float yesterday. It an absolute blast and despite what other reviews said it was definitely child friendly and safe for them. The employees were so great and even picked us at the air bnb we were staying out that was on route. We will be back every single year!
We had fun for the most part, i took my 15 and 11 yr old for their first trip. The staff was polite and helpful. My only complaint is 1 turn has a very small sign that says to stay to the right, and a very loose rope to block it off. But by the time i was able to read the sign the current was so strong we couldn't get out of it. Took a while for me and my 15yr old to pull us to safety why my daughter was freaking out. Came out bruised to heck and beat up. But still a great trip. Maybe just a little better warning a sign would be fantastic. Otherwise we'll be back
