Omg the owner is nice but his girlfriend is crazy .. I have a video of them cussing at each other in the bar but couldn't post it... Never will I go here with that crazy women there..
It was my 1st time going and I had a real nice time The bartender was very nice and sociable. She was very helpful with any questions we had and was very professional making drinks because I don't usually go out drinking , I don't r really drink so she asked me what I liked and then recommended a certain kind of mixed drinks with what I liked. The place was really big inside. They had 3 or 4 pool tables in a different area than the bar. They had music and keno, and I really liked the place.
As abutting neighbor I really am thrilled that this place is closed it was a poorly run business and a nuisance to the neighborhood. They were terrible neighbors. It was a horrible shame because the building really is beautiful and the business had incredible potential to be something amazing but they ran it like a dump.
I might be a little bit one sided in my views of this bar as it is owned by a friend of mine. But this place is great. Kristina is such a great and beautiful bartender she puts a big smile on my face every time I go there.
I have had many awful encounters in this place! The owner is usually trashed drooling on the bar, and if you as a woman get disrespected by a drunk patron that they “know” well good luck. Allowing the locals jerks run its clientele without any real supervision and a same old same old scene makes it a real dive bar but not the fun kind. Bartenders charge what they want for drinks, and if you’re a pretty girl get ready for more soda, less booze, and higher prices. Same dumpy characters every time you set foot in there. They get two toes and two thumbs down
Quintessential and quaint, truly a dive bar treasure. The drinks are cheap, the pool tables are in good shape, and it’s never too busy or too dead. Bring cash or an ATM card though, none of them newfangled credit card machines here, oh and bring quarters for the pool tables and jukebox.
Relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of space to move around. It's a hole in the wall from the outside but once you go in, it opens right up. Old mill style, a couple TV's, pool tables, very fairly priced beer and never overcrowded. I don't always go to bars, but when I do, I go to Boilermakers.
Prices a bit high for what you get. I hate having to pay to listen to tunes also. Didn't eat and honestly wouldn't consider the place for food. All and all nice crowd and relaxing atmosphere.
People that go drink are a little sketchy but never bothered me or made me feel uncomfortable. The bartenders are quite friendly. Pool tables are awesome
My wife and I had our first date here. The owners, Russ & Mary Jane are great. We always have a good time here !
