The special was 2 egg and sausage biscuits for $5.00. When trying to add cheese to one, they wanted to dishonor the special and charge a little over $7.00 for separate biscuits. When asked how much a slice of cheese on the side would cost, we were told .65 cents. I think it would have been more sanitary if they would have charged .65 extra and put the cheese on the biscuit instead of placing it in wax paper on the side. How is giving the cheese on the side any different than just charging the extra .65 for the add on to the biscuit?
Hate to leave bad reviews, but I want to on behalf of the lone employee working the night of 8/5. This employee was seemingly running the whole restaurant by himself, with no help. While I know the employee was doing his best, but I waited at the drive thru window for a total of 36 minutes. I paid and ultimately had to drive off without food or drink or a refund. Bojangles Lake Wylie needs to do better and get that man some help.
Ordered a Cajun filet biscuit, add tomato. The slice of tomato was ridiculously thin. To the people working there...would you like your slice of tomato toe nail thick? Get it together please. Make that biscuit like you'd want yours to be!Food: 3/5
Went through drive thru The food was cooked hard and thise fries were half burnt. The young lady and the young man at the drive thru did more playing than getting the food. Very disappointing. Bojangles is usually on point. Not sure what's going on with this location. Our first visit was similar but not as bad. Might just drive the extra miles to get my food. I hate wasting time and money. They are extremely slow as well.
Update!! I have to say, this location has really improved since my initial review. The chicken has been hot and fresh, the associates are friendly and helpful, and our experiences since the first review have been great! Sometimes, you just have to give a place another try. Glad we did!! I wish I could give this location more stars. Alas, I cannot because today I came home with a meal sans the chicken I ordered and a missing biscuit. Maybe extra instruction in the difference between legs, thighs and breasts is in order. Perhaps quality control is a necessary priority that should not be disregarded. Maybe there's just a lack of care. Whatever the case, the inconsistencies at this location have worn me down to the point that I can no longer expect a good experience.
Waited 20minutes for a single meal. Meal should include a biscuit but I got two orders of French fries. I would be fine if I was told but no one told me about it and I do not appreciate that
Who doesn't love a great steak biscuit? May be a chicken place, but my favorite chain restaurant to go to when I splurge for steak biscuits.Food: 5/5
I went inside to eat today, the young gentleman that's working the front is so very polite. My sincere complimentsFood: 5/5
Welcome to SLOWjangles! Poor employee attitudes and even worse the food is terrible. All of our items were undercooked and the biscuits were still raw. After waiting 30 minutes for the food you would think it would at least be cooked. Such a terrible experience.Food: 1/5
I have always loved Bojangles since my very first visit back in the 80s. I believe the first Bojangles was on 4th and Tryon in Charlotte, NC. Correct me if I'm wrong. The best chicken ever! I am wrong about the address. On July 6, 1977, Fulk and Thomas opened their first quick service fried chicken restaurant on West Boulevard. The restaurant was walk-in but had no tables for dining. They featured a crispy and uniquely cajun-spiced fried chicken, and shortly after introduced Fulk's soon-to-be legendary biscuits. They are awesome.
