My new favorite spot! Connected to a great beach area with concessions and rentals. Super safety plus: the campground gate to get in gets shut at night. You get a code to come in after hours once you check in. Our site was the best keeping that a secret so it isn't always booked and the walking trail access was great. One stop shop for a great getaway!
Great camp ground. Sites are well spaced and able to accommodate any level of camping tent to RV. Indoor toilets and a pay shower were available, and their area was clean. Also there were frequent spots to get fresh water. While we did not use them, there were sites that had power hook ups. There's a nice beach with its own indoor bathrooms and a spot to launch your boat. We've gone two separate summers and have found the other patrons to generally be good people who observe the rules every now and then there's someone who doesn't follow the noise rules, but they have been few and far between
Great campground, we were amazed at the lack of mosquitoes! A rarity these days. Sites are in close proximity, but would still recommend. The lake is great for boating, fishing, kayaking, & swimming.
This campground is trashy. The showers are filthy, there is CONSTANT vehicle traffic and people running their car engines a lot, cars in and out late at night, are these people not really campers?, the vibe is really off, loud music after 10, and the campground setup is not great. Is it pretty? Sure, it’s a nice Vermont park.
My Niece's Baby Shower/ Genter Revel Party was at a Pavillion there today. Very Nice place to hold event. Beautiful kept & constantly being checked out by the. Park Rangers. Highly recommend!!
We camped here and liked the location, showers, leanto, playground, adjacent day use beach and new awesome playground and boat dock. There were super nice, new accessible bathrooms at the day use area. Unfortunately, there was not enough staff to rent out boats when we wanted them.
Clean, family friendly and recently upgraded. Showers require tokens 50cents for 4 minutes. Family restrooms in addition to male. As me female restrooms. Concessions, Beach, playgrounds, boat, paddle and sup rentals. Bomoseen’s water is crystal clear. A 10 minute drive to Castleton for brunch at Bird’s eye diner is fantastic. Easy drive to Lake George for a day trip too! Has Fire pits, wood is $6 a cord Tent and RV camping
Always a nice clean park , staff friendly....to bad for all the rain this year.
Spacious campsite. Wished bathroom was closer but that was my own fault. I could have chosen a campsite closer. Super dog friendly place. I loved the beach very open and spacious not crowded. Best shower facilities EVER very private, water perfect temp very clean!! Very kid friendly my four-year-old loved it.
Great family park for camping. Unfortunately I got chiggers while there. Also there was a drunk man beating his dog in the site across from us. When I told him to stop, he paced in front of our leanto and cussed and called me names for a half hour. But the lean-to's are large and the staff was great.
