Booker T. Washington Academy is an urban co-educational institution for grades K-1. Booker T. Washington Academy is a community school where famlies from New Haven and surrounding areas can be assured that they will receive a high quality, first-class education based on the life, character and philosophy of Booker T. Washington.
The mission of the Booker T. Washington Academy is to develop the cognitive, speech and language, physical, ethical, social, and emotional skills of children so that they can make positive transitions along their developmental pathways leading to effective preparation for high school, college, and beyond.
All pictures of BTWA students have signed releases on file indicating parental consent for their use. Public Square Partnership owns many of the photos on the site and those are used with permission. Any other photos that appear in BTWA posts are hyperlinked to articles or websites in the public domain.
