Local, indy, organic, sweatshop-free: clothes, toys and more for creative, modern families.
When we started our own families way back in the 1990's, we searched for a store where everything was awesome and nothing was made in a sweatshop, but we couldn't find one. So we created the store of our dreams - Bootyland.
Our goal is to bring you products that combine style and function with sustainability. We search out fashions and designs that inspire creativity and self-expression, then we field-test our products in our own families - so we know they wear well and work well.
At Bootyland you will find a great mix of clothing from local, independent designers; organic cotton and hemp clothes for babies, kids and adults; sustainably produced and handmade wooden toys; baby carriers; cloth diapers and accessories; PVC-free rain gear; eco-friendly lunch boxes and more.
We've been mama-owned and operated since 1996 in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The shop is ultra kid and parent friendly; we have toys to play with, a bathroom with a changing table, and a rocking chair for feeding babies or just resting. We do cloth-diaper consultations, baby carrier fittings and we can help you set up your gift registry. If you're in the area, come by and see us in our new Wallingford location, or you can check us out online.
