The Wyomissing Parks and Recreation Department and the Wyomissing Recreation Board provide outstanding programs and events for Wyomissing Borough
The Wyomissing Parks and Recreation Department and the Wyomissing Recreation Board are responsible for supervising and maintaining all recreation areas and facilities in the Borough.
In addition, the Board oversees all programs at the playgrounds, pool and tennis courts. The annual special events Easter Egg Hunt, Earth Day, Fishing Rodeo, Concerts in the Park, Memorial Day Parade, Fourth of July Parade and the Lighting of the Greens are sponsored by the Recreation Board.
The Recreation Board meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. at Borough Hall.
The mission of the Wyomissing Recreation Board is to provide excellence in the delivery of programs, events and services; provide well-maintained, safe park areas and recreational facilities; enrich the physical and social development of our children while maintaining a safe environment; and meet the recreation needs of the community and enrich the lives of our residents.
