I don’t recommend this clinic at all. This place has no focus for health or curing you. I called them weeks ago regarding getting an appointment, they told me they will call me back to schedule it. A month later I get a call back about it and was told about an availability in 2 months. That isn’t the worst part, the worst part is that they were treating a symptom and charging my insurance money for months without a care in the world for what was causing it. I have been living with an active internal hemorrhage for a long time and they never sent me for testing to figure out what was causing my symptoms. I had to go to a whole other clinic to find this out. They also refused to refill my prescriptions because I didn’t have time for an annual check up. This place is not only sketchy but unprofessional. If you actually care about your health this isn’t the best place, one physician I saw also gaslit me when I mentioned other symptoms I had. Their physicians quit all the time too. This place is convenient for walking distance but apart from that the treatment and care provided is unsafe and poor. If I hadn’t gone to the other clinic to get ultrasounds and other testing done I wouldn’t know that I have an internal hemorrhage and god knows where I could be in the future.
I do not recommend this clinic not one bit, I have been a patient for over 5 years here and honestly have nothing but attitude, cancelled appointments, misinformation, I'll show up for blood tests and nothing is ordered, no one will know what I'm talking about when I come to pick up documents. Extremely unprofessional! You'll call over and over and over with no answer, seems easier to just show up to ask your questions! Don't expect an open appointment for at least over a month even if your expressing the urgency, when you get an appointment prepare to wait over an hour past your apt time! Your SO MUCH better off going to planned parenthood such a disappointment I will be changing my provider, I love Dr papa but I can't deal with this horrible office, don't look past the reviews, they really are a 1 star clinic!!! Not even 1 star, I'd take the 1 back if it wasn't mandatory.
This place is disgusting! My mother just hung the phone up crying because a doctor belittled her and laughed at her with all the other women who work here! Her name was Dr. Parker! She is a terrible human being and I will be reaching out to HR for this! The women you call to make refills are so rude and act like your bothering them at home! They all should be fired for how they treat people. My mother suffers from high blood pressure and can be Hospitalized for it! It is not okay the way they treat Patience!
This clinic is a joke! My husband went in for a follow up due to a dirt bike accident which caused massive trauma to collar bone and shoulder. He was assigned to Dr. Johnny Parker who by the way is very rude and mean. She pushed down on his injured shoulder and instantly brought him to tears. The medical field has no place for mean and hostile workers. You are supposed to feel safe at a doctors office but that is not the case with this DR working at this clinic!! No wonder they are loosing good doctors left and right here!! I would NOT recommend this clinic!! I wouldn’t even rate this 1 star but unfortunately I have to in order to post my review.
Worst doctor experience of my life. My primary care referred me and wanted me to get in to borregos women’s health dept immediately for a pap, blood panel, urine analysis, and a couple other things, because i had recently had a miscarriage.The only upside was that they were able to get me in same day because it was an urgent matter. I requested a female doctor and was told i’d have one. After waiting 15 minutes in the waiting room and over 40 minutes in the exam room, i found out the doctor had forgotten i was there. The doctor finally walks in, not a female doctor, an ancient man wearing a TOMMY BAHAMA BUTTON DOWN AND JORTS. He looked like he just stepped off of a cruise. He could barely form full sentences, seemingly had no understanding of the female reproductive system, and was rude and condescending. Nearly two hours spent at the doctors office and all i received was a pregnancy test, which i could have done at home. I turned down the pap, they didn’t run any addition tests, and he refused to prescribe me birth control because i had issues with the one i took as a teenager and when i told him there are plenty of other options, he said “we don’t have time for all of that”????? i left the building crying. receptionists and nurses were nice enough, but the doctor was uneducated and lacked empathy.
Very bad place they don’t care for Pationt so I advice everyone to don’t go there all the doctors there bad my doctor her name Tamara and I didn’t like what she did to me when I had appointment
I recommend Dr. Tamara in this center because she is a perfect doctor, but I do not recommend Dr. Baba, he is really a stupid doctor that I have met in my life!!!
This clinic needs a critical attention from people who are in charge of it. The front desk people are so unprofessional; they never answer any phone calls even if you wait 2+ hours on the line. When I went to my appointment I noticed they just keep chatting in Arabic about patients or unrelated stuff to the place that they work for. The only person who takes calls is the lady who speak Spanish I would say she is doing her job but the rest needs a lot of training before hiring them.
So I was switched to this clinic due to my other one by grossmont center shutting down I guess . When I called at first the lady made me an appointment for 6pm which was perfect but kind of thru me off . The Dr's actually stay that late ? ...... nope . When I got the confirmation text it said 1:10 pm . I have 2 toddlers and couldn't do that time due to no babysitter. I called about 5 times to cancel my appointment and no one answered the phone . After finally getting thru to someone I was able to to cancel and reschedule. I asked if I could do a telephone appointment and was scheduled a telephone appointment . When it came time for the appointment they called me 2 hours before the time and I mised it . No follow up call. Just horrible experience and I haven't even had an appointment yet . Ridiculous.
I just switch my case from different clinic to Borrego and in my first appointments I asked for bloodwork test. The front desk gave me the date and time for my appointment. She didn’t mentioned anything about that’s I have to be fasting for this test. Anyway I showed up to my appointment and the lab person with her bad attitude told me you have to be fasting to have this test. I told her that no one told me about to be fasting. Also I took a day off from my job this is not my fault then she sent me to second floor asking for the manager and they took my information and they said the manager will call tomorrow. Update: No one called me at all because the managers and a front disk they have no responsibility to handle this job. Friendly recommendation: People please don’t waste your time in this clinic there’s some discrimination and mistreating at this clinic. 0/10
