Boston Center for Oral Health has been providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages since 1923.

Since 1923, Boston Center for Oral Health has been providing comprehensive dental care in a warm and caring environment where patient comfort is the top priority. Our Back Bay practice is home to a team of experienced doctors including an endodontist, orthodontist, periodontist, prosthodontist and a preeminent, worldwide expert in the field of dental implants. We serve patients of all ages, from children to seniors, who have a variety of dental needs. In addition to providing top-notch care to our patients, dentists at Boston Center for Oral Health hold faculty appointments at the dental schools of Tufts, Harvard and Boston Universities, teaching tomorrow’s dentists today. Our oral surgeons are affiliated with top hospitals including Massachusetts General and Boston Children’s Hospital.

I went to Dr. Morreale hoping he could help me with a locked jaw and some additional TMJ issues I’d been experiencing. He really sold himself as an expert in TMJ issues and told me that he had a treatment plan with a 99% success rate in resolving TMJ issues, but it would cost $5,000 out of pocket for a year of treatment and access to his expertise. He told me we would work things like getting me into physical therapy, getting a sleep study, and possible orthodontic work once my symptoms decreased, and to be honest, I felt like he was pressuring me a but to agree to sign up for the treatment plan. I was desperate and foolishly agreed to pay this amount of money. His office helped me schedule an MRI, gave me two appliances, and told me that he would be able to unlock my jaw after the MRI gave them more information. I managed to unlock my jaw on my own before the MRI and had one follow up appointment with him to go over the MRI results. After this he canceled my next follow up appointment and did not reach out to schedule anything else. I scheduled another appointment and told him I was considering getting orthodontic treatment done in hopes of decreasing my TMJ symptoms, since I have malocclusion issues. His office scanned me for Invisalign and told me his office would reach out in a couple weeks to go over the scans. It’s been almost four months and he has not reached out. I feel like he really oversold what he would do for me, as I was told that he’d work with me to relieve my TMJ symptoms and make sure my jaw does not lock again. I do not feel like the very limited work he did for me was worth the $5,000 I paid him, and I deeply regret giving him that much money only for him to not really do that much for me. For anyone considering working with him to resolve TMJ issues, I suggest finding a different dentist. While you might have to wait longer to get an appointment with other TMJ dentists, it’s most likely worth the wait and won’t result in you wasting thousands of dollars. TLDR: Don’t waste $5,000 here hoping to resolve your TMJ issues. Edit regarding their response: The custom orthotic did not unlock my jaw. I unlocked it on my own and using other methods . Regardless, I do not feel like $5,000 worth of treatment was delivered. They also have my phone number, but apparently don't know how to use it to schedule follow up appointments.
Right on time. Everyone was professional and courteous and explained everything to me. Dr Morealle is the best. I am sure my wife will be thrilled with me no longer snoring.
What an off putting experience! I have never had a provider that was forcing you to agree to a treatment plan before doing exams on you. This doctor's staff say one thing and then he says something completely different. Also, please be aware that when he's saying I need you to agree to the treatment plan or says I need you to commit to the treatment plan now, what that translates to is I need you to pay for everything right now and then we can do exams to see if his assesment is accurate. Let me be clear that I was more than willing to pay and came prepared for amount that I was responsible for. However, what I was not prepared for was his team telling me that i would have time to decide on the treatment proposed that I could do this after the MRI and then the Doctor basically saying I need to make the decision now on everything before he has even completed a thorough investigation on what the problem actually is. Speaking to me on zoom and for 5 minutes in an office is not an eximanation.
Fantastic practice! I’m returning for sure. Erin is an Outstanding hygienist- the Midas touch. Dr. Morealle and all the staff are extremely professional- high degree of competence all around. Modern equipment and practices. Such a great experience.
I was visiting Boston from out of town when one of my crowns fell out. I was hoping to find a dentist to reattach it, and I contacted the Boston Center. They managed to squeeze me in for an appointment the next day. They were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, and now my smile no longer looks like a jack-o-lantern. They were also kind enough to send the x-ray to my dentist at home.
I am so so happy with my experience at this office. A previous dentist really messed up my front center 2 teeth a couple of years ago, and I have been too nervous and apprehensive to get it fixed since then. Being from out of state originally, I didn’t have a trusted dentist here in Boston. I was referred to Dr. Morreale by a friend, and I am so grateful. Everything from the initial cleaning to getting my front teeth repaired was a wonderful experience. The entire staff is fantastic and so kind. Dr. Huyett repaired my teeth within a 2 hour appointment today. She took her time to find out what I wanted and did not rush the process or cut corners. She reassured me every step of the way, and I couldn’t believe it when she put the mirror in front of my face to show me the result. I didn’t realize how insecure I’ve been about my teeth until today - now I can’t stop smiling! They really care about dental health. I appreciated a judgement free zone while they came up with a plan to fix/heal other complications that came from neglecting my teeth health and avoiding the dentist office for 2 years. If you’re looking for a dentist office you can trust - with a laid back, yet extremely competent environment - go here!!!

I visited Dr Morreale and his team to be fitted with a custom mouth piece. Throughout the process the team was very accommodating and made the process seem less. The professionalism of the team at Boston Center for Oral Health is some of the best I have experienced. I’m looking forward to the improved sleep quality and the fantastic ongoing care!!
