Workers were nice & courteous! We were greeted right away. The sides were all fresh, however the chicken was over cooked that it shrinked. The dark meat tasted like white meat since its been over cooked - dry! Place seems clean, the bathroom needs loving.
I love their turkey! The chicken is excellent too! The veggies are very good. Their corn bread is fresh and very tasty. People are very helpful. We had our Thanksgiving catered from here and they did a great job. I've ate turkey at some fine restaurants and from my family growing up. This place is no joke. Try it out and you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Waited forever for service. Their was only two people ahead of me and it took 15 minutes to be served. I had chicken pot pie which was disgusting. Very dry! I had to wait another 5 minutes to get gravy to get it down. HQ needs to reevaluate their pies. I told my husband and he said he knew because he had one of your pies before at a different Boston Market. Also, the place was dirty and sticky around the soda and condiment stations. Huge disappointment!!
For the life of me, I just can't seem to get my green beans to come out the same way. And their mac and cheese is excellent, too. Staff here are very friendly and helpful, good place to take the kids or grandkids. My wife loves their potpies. Good solid food at a good price.
Went to the location in Norwood, MA 111 Lenox Street tonight. One of the two managers on duty cut the meat I was having with gloves on as is required, however the employee who put together my sides did not have gloves on. After that he and another employee went back to cutting meat. Neither had gloves on. I spoke up and, with both managers standing right there, and made mention of the no gloves. One employee held up the tongs he was using and said I am using these with a fresh attitude. I said, does not matter, you are handling the utensil that is touching the meat without gloves. The other employee shouts out, the meat he is cutting is for himself not a customer. Again I repeated law says gloves must be worn. Does not matter who the food is being prepared for. Neither manager did anything about it. They just looked at me like I was a crazy lady. Long and short, if you have a pet peeve about glove wearing, DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!!
Got food from here tonight... probably the last time I come here. The place was filthy, dishes and food overflowing on the counter. As I pulled up I watched through the window as an employee spit on the floor by the soda area. I'm so grossed out, if the front of the house looks like this, I can only imagine what the back looks like. 4 employees working and only spoke creole very loudly, I was asked a question and I had to ask 3 times for them to repeat it. The woman behind the counter who spit on the floor was dancing then told me she was "sexy". Worst experience ever.
I have gone into the Norwood store every Friday since the door open. Today I went in ordered chicken dinners, brownies and prime rib dinners. I was allowed to pay for everything but the prime rib dinners with my debit card .the prime rib dinners I had to pay cash. I had to leave the store to go to the bank to withdraw money. When I returned and paid for my prime rib dinners I asked for a receipt, I was told I couldn't have one. With no explanation . I find this very odd and felt very uncomfortable...will never enter that store again
We normally order chocolate cake and I’m the past they have sent carrot cake through Uber eats in its place. We’ve let it slide for a few times and end up throwing it away. Tonight we decided to not accept the carrot cake and wanted a refund instead. It was $20. When I called to ask for a refund they said they wouldn’t and to throw it away. The girl told me there wasn’t a manager to speak to tonight. She told me chocolate cake would be in on Monday and I insisted I do not want it Monday I want it tonight again she would not except any excuses she would not refund the money or take the carrot cake back but again to throw it away. I will Not only go back I will tell everybody I know not to go there.
Their customer service is terrible. They’re incredibly rude. I made an order through DoorDash, according to them I never paid. Have proof and my receipt and it was taken out of my account. They still refused to take my order, but they sure as hell took my money. They won’t let me speak to their manager. Please go to a different Boston market, not to the one in Norwood. They have terrible people skills.
The 3 piece dark w/mashed potatoes, gravy, & corn of the cob. It was yummy, but their chickens are sooo small. Chicken Pot Pie, disappointed ... shredded, dry white meat dark meat would help, very few carrots & very few peas, should be green beans. Chicken coated in gravy, but that was about all ... where did the gravy go???
