Proud to be doing outdoor environmental education in the Stevens Point School District!
Throughout the school year, elementary teachers and their students from the Stevens Point Area Public Schools come to the Boston School Forest for environmental education programs. The children are able to learn directly from nature as they explore the forest. The Boston School Forest curriculum is based on Wisconsin State Standards and correlates with the schools.
The purpose of the BSF Facebook page is to share and celebrate the variety of events, activities and outdoor environmental education that occurs every day at the school forest The facebook page is not intended as a forum to discuss or debate school policies, political activity or engage in criticism of staff and students, nor as the official source of public information regarding district policies. The district welcomes positive and encouraging comments about students and staff, and reserves the right to delete and block comments which do not support this purpose.
