Wedding date: July 31, 2018 Wedding venue: Thornewood Castle  It is such a delight to work with Kelly. I hired her as my florist for my wedding last year. It was absolutely the best decision I made for my wedding!  I DIY-ed my wedding to save some cost on expensive wedding planners. Kelly was referred to me by my caterer and she was the first on their list.  We talked on phone about my visions for my wedding, my preferences, my budget and her precious experience at my wedding venue. She told me she would help me in anyway she can since I didn't have a planner and days were so close to my wedding. After the phone call, I knew she was the right person for me immediately.  We had an in-person meeting the next week. I must say I had no idea of different styles of bouquet and yes, at that point, less than 7 weeks to my wedding, I didn't even set my mind on color palette yet. Kelly came prepared and she was so patient. We looked at some pictures so she could understand my preferences first then she gave me suggestions. Boy, those suggestions were so to the point and they were exactly what I had in my deep mind but couldn't describe. She helped me to form my vision in details and put everything together. After the meeting, I felt like I could see what my wedding would be.  On our final walk through, Kelly helped me on deciding the overall floor plan. She was able to picture me the arch design, the welcome table design and dinner head table design. She was so prepared. I was able to see my whole wedding through her description. She took notes of what I said in the final walk through and revised her design accordingly.  Before the wedding, we had a phone call to finalize everything. I had a hard time on deciding on the aisle for my ceremony. I looked for so many pics but I just didn't love them enough and it was so hard for me to vividly describe my vision to her in my second language over the phone. At some point I just said I would settle on her old design Kelly had worked at Thornewood Castle several times and she showed me her past work. But Kelly didn't settle and she made every effort to make sure that I didn't settle for my wedding. She kept sending me pictures and described me what she would do for my aisle. Finally we found the perfect aisle design for my wedding.  On my wedding day, Kelly arrived earlier as usual. Everything she did was so beautiful. She was able to create everything I had in mind and she did even better. She gave me my perfect wedding.  I couldn't say enough good things about Kelly. She is professional. She is creative. She is experienced. She cares about her clients. She goes above and beyond. She is so delightful to work with. And she can deal with incident on your wedding my cake caterer didn't put sugar flowers on my wedding cake, which clearly she supposed to do according to our agreement; Kelly was able to use some eucalyptus to decorate my cake a little to give it an organic look; she took care of it before I even knew there was something wrong with my cake and went all panic and angry. Btw, she kept me on my floral budget!  Kelly sent me cards and wrote emails to me after my wedding. She keeps in touch ever since. She doesn't treat her clients just as clients. She dives in to truly understand what you want and makes sure your wedding reflects you. Do work with Kelly. You sure will get way more than a professional and creative florist for your wedding.

We absolutely loved working with Kelly and Botanique for our wedding and cannot recommend her enough! She is a rare talent who brings an incredibly artistic eye to her designs, which are full of movement and texture, down to every last detail. We actually planned our wedding from out of town and across a time zone, and Kelly made the entire process easy and effortless. She listened to our preferences, offered thoughtful suggestions based on her extensive knowledge and practical experience, and brought our vision to life. Kelly is a consummate professional and a true gem.

If you're looking for someone to do the floral arrangement for your wedding, look no further! From the e-mails to the day of, Kelly was flawless at communication, professionalism and pure artistry. Just take a look at her website! Kelly is also very warm, down-to-earth and genuinely a nice person! I e-mailed Kelly my plan of having arrangements for my bridal party, immediate family, altar pieces and our dog. She had several packages that I could choose from and I ultimately went with the cutting garden where she gets an idea of the overall feel/colors of your wedding and then uses flowers from her very own garden to create a masterpiece! We did not know what arrangements we were getting until the day-of and we were so pleasantly surprised. The flowers were SO BEAUTIFUL!!! and exactly what we envisioned! I couldn’t stop smelling and looking at my bouquet! All of our guests and other vendors! were in LOVE with all of it and it fit our theme/palette so perfectly! Our dog's floral collar was so perfect and beautiful, it made me cry! I also appreciate that she had a Land Acknowledgement for her cutting garden because that is SO important! Thank you so much Kelly for the beautiful flowers and for the work you do. We wish you so much success in the future! May your garden and your business continue to prosper!

Kelly and her team are absolutely amazing! Florals were such an important element of our day as we wanted an intimate garden-like feel to our wedding which was outdoors under a tent. We loved the natural aesthetic of Botanique.  From the first meeting my husband and I had with Kelly, we were 100% confident she understood our vision and would blow us away. She did not disappoint! She took our initial ideas, helped form them into a cohesive design, and produced something incredible. Our expectations were exceeded! She was great to work with. When I sent ideas and added/took away elements throughout the planning, she was very accommodating and enthusiastic. You could tell she truly cared about the designs. She’d be honest and tell us when adding something was unnecessary even though it’d mean more profit for her. She gave feedback and suggestions on other rentals chairs, linens, tables, etc. that would tie all the decor together. Her positive energy increased our own excitement about the final results. We’re thankful we found Botanique as our wedding would not have been the same without them!

Kelly with Botanique is just amazing.  She has so much talent, and I love her artistic eye and approach to flowers.  You can tell it's not just a job to her, it's her PASSION.  As a local wedding planner we have not only worked with her, we've taken some of her workshops and also bought from her cutting garden.  She has such a unique style, so natural yet always cohesive and gorgeous. Her clients are very lucky to work with her, and we can't recommend her enough!

I have worked with Kelly in 2017 of November for my wedding at Canlis and I couldn't be happier with how the flowers turned out for my wedding. There weren't any flowers that I liked during the fall season but she really pulled it off with making beautiful arrangements for my wedding using beautiful flowers, foliage, and color palettes. She really has a beautiful craftsmanship and is super talented in working with her flowers. I only had a vague idea on how I wanted my flowers for the wedding, but she made great suggestions based on her professional knowledge and her visions really made the whole venue and the wedding look beautiful. Her works were really stylish, natural and flowy, just like how I wanted and imagined. Kelly is extremely accommodating and a sweet person to work with. I can't thank her enough for her hard work she has put forth for our wedding. I really appreciated having her arranging flowers for my wedding

I worked with Kelly on my August wedding reception at Edgewater hotel. I really wanted something hanging to frame the dance floor where myself and my partner did a short Korean ceremony with my parents. Kelly was flexible to meet with me and my mom, and really listened to what we wanted. I am extremely happy with our final product is a result of collaboration between us, and it was only possible with Kelly and her team's expertise in flower design and installation. I loved the small bouquet that she designed for me. Here again, she listened to what I wanted Calla lilies, and small in size, and delivered the best version that I hoped for. Kelly was also transparent with her pricing, and creative to give us ideas to save money in the process. Her approach to design, client communication is as elegant as the flower designs that she makes.

Kelly was SUCH a dream to work with. She understood my vision more than I even did and she transformed everything she touched at our venue.  Kelly was always kind and easy going. She let me ask a million questions and every time I changed my mind or wanted to tweak something she was enthusiastic instead of frustrated. Kelly was always honest on ways I could save money and florals that she felt like I didn’t need. When I got to our venue after first look photos I realized Kelly had gone above and beyond and used some of the extras to create an aisle piece that I had decided to cut in order to save money. I was so touched!  I can’t explain how much peace of mind she gave me throughout the entire process by always being easy to reach and beyond organized. It was easy to trust her 100% with my vision. Easily my favorite vendor to work with!! Thank you Kelly!!!

Kelly did an amazing job on my wedding flowers - she listened closely to my vision and delivered with a gorgeous bouquet and centerpieces with cafe au lait dahlias. My coordinator a former florist said that my flowers were some of her favorite she had ever seen. Even though I did not allocate a large portion of my budget to florals, Kelly treated with me with respect and attention to detail. Highly recommend as a vendor.

Kelly offers so many fabulous services! Aside from wedding and event flowers, she also teaches classes. Sometimes she’ll do small scale workshops and other times one-on-one sessions customized to the student’s interests.  I had the pleasure of taking a private lesson in her lovely studio. Kelly has a unique was of interpreting  her thought process, she does so in a way that students can follow along and see the process come together in the mechanics and construction of the project at hand a hand-tied bouquet in my case. Taking the class made me only want to learn more from Kelly, I can’t wait for a follow up lesson during the growing season—I’ve heard her cutting garden is spectacular!
