I went here on my way from Hoover Dam and this was a great little find. Turns out the museum had been closed for a private education event but the staff let me enjoy the museum anyways and I sure did. This place is great. The displays are fantastic and clean. A lot to look at here. I recommend any rail enthusiasts to check out this place and families to.
The tickets are ONLY for the train ride. The museum itself is free, open air, covered and amazing. A few of the exhibits can be boarded and viewed. The Director has a PhD and is excited to answer questions and give explanations about all aspects of the railroads. Make certain to plan a few hours to stop by and learn about the railroads.
Incredible experience all around! We stopped in on a Sunday to ride the train, loved the entire experience! Only $10 per person, and train ride is 40 minutes. Be sure to walk to the open air car, very unique and great for photos. We walked through the model train cars as well as the maintenance shop, very fun and unique experienceVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
A lot of history in all the railroad trains they have displayed at the museum! Parking can be limited. The train ride is very enjoyable. The breeze you feel as you hang your head outside the open passenger car! Also make sure you charge the battery on phone, because you are going to take a lot of pictures!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10

Train across Beautiful Desert our tickets were $10 dollars. It's a 45 min trip thru this awesome desert scape an up thru a canyon n then back again there r many different train cars to choose from from old luxury passenger with rich velvety plush seats to a old cattle car with or without covered roof with wood benches. I highly recommend this adventure. There were also $20 tics to ride in caboose or $35 tics to ride with train engineer. It was awesome fun for everyone of all ages
Excellent low cost afternoon family outing. Be sure to check out the "Static" train walk thru displays. 1 passenger car has a huge Running O Guage Model Train Exhibit free. Train Ride is about an hour round trip. Adults are $10 each, kids 3 and under free, Over 3 to 12 $5. There is a small store there too with Souvenir items. Aloha.
My 4 year old is in love with trains and this was so exciting to be able to take him on one. We had an amazing time. We found out about so many activities they have here for families and we are glad we live close to be able to attend.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
