Boulter Plywood

First time visit here, excellent selection of high quality hardwood ply. Yardman that helped me went out of his way to make sure I got the most value for the money. Large selection of live edge and other lumber as well, I did not expect that but it is good to know. Will be using Boulter for more purchases since the selection and stock is worth the 1hr each way trip for me.

I appreciate the staff's helpfulness. I started woodworking just a few years ago and had no idea what to buy or how to buy it. Fortunately they take the time to help you get what you need. I've now been dozens of times. Also, some of the sheet goods are heavy, and I value not having to get them onto a cart alone when I need a hand.

Crazy amount of species of plywood and hardwood S4S. They've even got some slabs. Prices on the plywoods are through the roof but that's just what the market is these days.

First time visit, and wow, what a great place, with super good service, even for a scruffy walk-in who only wanted a tiny bit of 1/8 hardwood ply for a project, they helped me figure out what I needed, and cut it off a larger sheet They do stock much more than just ply, don't let the company name fool you, as they have plenty of solid hardwoods and more This is a great resource for makers in the area, and I know I will using Boulter for future projects

There's a great selection and plenty of inventory. My only complaint is that it can be very difficult to find help when they're busy.

Huge selection of plywood, live edge wood and other stuff. whatever you need they probably have it. got exactly what I needed for my boat along with a few cuts made by them. was taken care of quickly and employees were helpful. definitely recommend and will return when I need something else.

I believe this is my first google review, and i'm glad it's a positive one. Before I learned of boulder, I was going to home depot. a good analogy is finding out about a $$$$ steakhouse, at $$ prices, while you have only experienced mcdonalds beef. the quality wood you get from boulter is head and shoulders above home depot. not to mention you get great customer service, with professionals who are knowledgeable. this especially applies to folks who are building out vans. if you're anything like me, you had no idea what the heck you are doing, and being able to ask questions and get good advice is key. don't get me wrong, you're going to be a slight premium at boulter compared to home depot, but it's well worth it. great customer service, perfectly straight cuts, same day service i've never had to wait more than 30 mins for any products, i suggest calling a head to make life easier for everyone. extra special shout out to Darren, and Steve. I have been to boulder about 10-15 times and their customer service has been incredible. I really can't say how much I have appreciated their expertise, knowledge, and guidance. if you're building a van, and you're not getting your wood supplies from boulter, then you're creating an inferior product.

I'm a diy'er not a pro, so sometimes you don't get a good experience at suppliers. That is not the case with Boulter. Every time I've gone the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and their products are top notch. The new location is the icing on the cake. Much easier browse inventory and load up. Would definitely recommend!

I began using Boulter 20 years ago and have never had a problem with anything. All of their veneers have been top notch and at prices that are less than any other wood manufacturers that I have found. I will continue using their products and can highly recommend them. They have even on occasion laid up plywood to my specifications for specific applications.

I'm a weekend warrior DIYer and was looking for Wacky Wood to create a curved half wall and some Walnut to create a built in bookcase. Chris spent at least an hour with me, explaining the differences between wood species, quality, characteristics, costs, and helping me figure out exactly how many boards I needed, in what lengths to get. Treated me like I was his best customer even though it was my first time in and didn't spend anything on that first visit! He suggested I refine my design to get it right before spending any money. I've since returned several times and have bought a good amount of wood. And the wood they have seems great quality and beautifully machined.
