Had our Company Holiday Party there!! Catered food, unlimited soft drinks, dessert and coffee provided. Plus 2 hours unlimited bowling! They had an awesome back room with games, pool table and air hockey! We all had a awesome time! Place was clean and decorated nicely for Christmas!
Went to get a ball at the Pro Shop there and bowl a bit. The staff were phenomenal and had my ball fitted and rolling down the lane within 20 minutes. Lane conditions were nice. Had a great time!
Once you get past the nasty as hell people old man and woman - probably the owners who set up your games with a look of disgust for giving them your money the place itself isn't too bad. Unfortunately for me this is the closest place otherwise I would happily watch them crumble - but they are lucky to be the only one nearby for many people. The other staff are very nice, friendly, helpful people. The actual bowling experience is nice too, but you can't help but to feel like you didn't get the full enjoyment because of how it all started - with an angry person who was *so* upset that you wanted to pay for a service they offer, bowling! I've been here many times in the past, daytime and nighttime, and definitely the worst is the old lady who sets you up, she is snappy, impatient and just overall rude, maybe she needs a day off. I do not know if their policy changed over the years, but *un*-surprisingly they did not offer my brother - a member of the U.S. Navy at the time, a military discount even when he showed military ID as proof. If you do have the unfortunate displeasure of being at this place - order the french fries, they are tasty although if the person is on her phone the whole time you're gonna have to wait until she makes a fresh batch because she burnt the previous one
For being a terrible bowler, I actually had a good time with my husband last night. Place was pretty quiet for a Friday night around 10:30. Less than half the lanes were occupied. I can see why they're listed on Groupon. We chose the "glow in the dark" side of the alley which was pretty cool. I do suggest better music be played that late at night. I wasn't exactly enjoying Miley Cyrus and Brittany Spears. Pretty childish. Pretty sure Baby Shark was even played. Killed the mood a little. The TV next to us was playing a a Dateline type show about a man who murdered his wife and two little daughters. True story. Another mood killer. But hubby and I always have a great time together and laugh at each other enough to lighten it up and have fun. Bar was completely empty when I went to grab beer for us while hubby searched and searched for the right ball. However, the bartender was super sweet and told me about a great deal they have. 5 cans of Blue Point in a bucket for only $15. I've paid $7 for one can of Blue Point at a restaurant near my house soooo yea. Sold! Overall, bowling alley is super clean and they did a great job renovating it. Next time we'll try the food. Peeked at the menu and seems pretty cheap. All in all, this was a very inexpensive date night and we truly had a good time. We agreed that we would definitely like to go again and bring our son next time.
As an a experienced bowler. The lanes are very forgiving when off your mark. It’s great for anyone. Lanes almost never break down and bowling ball doesn’t get damaged after pin fall. The leagues are great! 90% of the bowlers there bowled last season. They are loyal to Patchogue lanes and I’ve met people who come from the Hamptons and Babylon.
A big shout out to Bill and Mike in the pro shop. Great guys always looking to help and get you fitted right. Highly recommend. Nice to see people who really enjoy what they do.
My husband and I hosted our gender reveal party in their new party room this past weekend. The room was beautiful. The entire staff worked very hard, and went above and beyond to make the party special for us! I would definitely host another party here!
This place is old. Our balls got stuck and we were waiting for them to fix it for an hour. The only thing that is good is the food and drink. My shoes were also broken. Also they put oil before the lane. I do not recommend this place for a part or just going any time
Great place to have a night out bowling with friends. Be mindful that there are weekend leagues on Saturday so call ahead to get information on the times when lanes are available. Great bar area to hang out with friends too.
League Night is fun. Open bowling is usually pretty quiet during the day time. Bar is a little bit pricey. Food here is actually pretty good. Pizza is good!!
